Angels,

Today we are excited to share with you the live recording of the multi-dimensional music project End of Time at The Monastery Festival. 

End of Time is the trio of Trippin Jaguar, DJ and electronic music producer, Stacey Griffin, sound healer at Shift Meditation and Anthoni Logos, music producer and musician. With the use of ambisonics technology and an array of speakers, they create sonic escapes that form a three-dimensional field. The space becomes part of the composition and entices the listeners to experience a more complex sonic landscape formed by energetic and meditative sounds.

It was amazing what we experienced during The Monastery. So amazing that we book them for the next Thursday 22 of November to perform for us in an intimate setting at The Cosmic Jungle in Amsterdam.  We can't wait!

Enjoy this journey with an open heart and we promise you will find yourself in a new state of mind.

The soul doesn't need words to speak. It has been speaking through its endless eternal wisdom since the dawn of consciousness. The soul of each and every living creature is but one piece of the whole existence, of being; it speaks through so many channels like sounds, love, intuition, vibrations, frequencies etc. Its essence is pure and intelligent. It is life itself. This sound journey speaks the language of my soul: even if it be the most important facets since the endlessness of the soul cannot be summed up into any language. This journey is the expression of my connectedness which I have never lost. How could I ever? The soul is not in the universe, the universe is in the soul.

Welcome 2020, 'better late than never'. To start it, we're about to meet the Indian-raised curator, DJ and event producer 'anandroid', based in Washington DC, where he's been shaking things off. Co-founder, resident DJ and curator of the Crepúsculo Sereno project, also a resident DJ and curator for DC-based global arts collective Meso Creso and Nomadico Festival, anandroid is a purveyor of cold electronica infused with the warmth of the human spirit, being heavily influenced by his experience as an immigrant, as an optimist and as a scientist, weaving together the futuristic and the folkloric from around the world.

This 165th edition goes through variations in musical keys, traditions, beats, cultures and styles - well, nothing unusual from what we've been curating here on the podcast, nevertheless, in an impressive way he drops an eclectic selection recorded on Ableton, following a psychedelic trend using/combining twenty-two tracks, several melodies and arrangements in only one hour. Capturing the wonder and mystery you get on a stroll to nowhere, mainly due to the dynamism generated by the constant change of tracks throughout the mixtape, anandroid invites you to slow down and embrace the richness of the sights.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

On the grey bank of the Joliba, dotted with the shells of giant oysters, women were drawing water in great gourds. Slaves were being driven along in single file by an overseer. Serkan Eles was hurled headlong flaming into the ethereal sky. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks will hold your hand as you cross the road.
