All sounds contained within are home-made/DIY recordings. Most songs are short stories, as I am influenced by Musicians & Writers like Raymond Carver, Warren Zevon, Mountain Goats, Tom Waits, Mark Eitzel,  Randy Newman, Destroyer, Steely Dan, Captain Beefheart, Loudon Wainwright III, Leonard Cohen & The National. Electric guitarist and composer born in Sicily, after various experiences in the rock and hard rock fields, a passion for melodic instrumental music was born in me. I express myself through notes. I hope that these songs can take you on a journey into mine and your deepest emotions

The Hungry Pyknic consists of two members. One of us is the singer and the other does the music. Our songs are inspired by many different genres. We like to use unusual time signatures and song formatting while we write and create our sound.

All of our songs are recorded on Cubase Elements 11.

Our goal is to have our songs heard by as many people as possible. With time, we would like a Canadian studio to hear our songs and have them professionally recorded.

Here I would like to present music composed and produced by myself (multitracking guitars, bass, and drums) and pieces that were created in the context of various bands since 1990. Some of the tracks are completely worked out, some are demos, some are from jam sessions, and some are live recordings. When relevant, in each single track the band name is given, the respective players are listed, and details as to the background of the music are presented.
All drawings and paintings were done by myself and, in some cases, by my wife, Andrea.

Dubbed “brooding indie rocker” by Losangeles.com, Los Angeles vocalist Hayden Kelly, carries some unique vocal attributes and sultry versatility.  Hayden was the lead vocalist for Baltimore Sunday, The Gravy Tribe, Monochrome (Perish), Citizen Savant, The Furies and has played in esteemed venues (House of Blues, The Hotel Café, The Viper Room, The Derby, LA Pride and The Mint).
Her first album, the self titled "Baltimore Sunday", was recorded by Ryan Krieger (Cro Mags, Blue Man Group) and mastered by producer Jon Russel at Presence Studios in Connecticut. Hayden has shared a stage with Buddy Guy at the legendary Stanhope House in New Jersey and has had the good fortune to work with some amazing musicians like Joel Stites (Scapegoat Wax) and Craig Meyer (Rachel Platten, Baltimore Sunday).
