Sonic Reverie: A Tale from the Enchanted North

A lone wanderer ventured into an enchanted forest in a land where the Northern Lights painted the sky with iridescent hues. The forest's ancient trees swayed to an ethereal rhythm while the snow beneath their feet echoed a distant beat.
Guided by the forest's whispers, the wanderer journeyed deep into the wilderness. As days turned into weeks, the seeker encountered a clearing where a single tree stood. Beneath it lay a pool of liquid ice, its surface resonating with a profound bass that seemed to emanate from the Earth itself.
The wanderer had found the source, a connection between nature and sound. They closed their eyes, merging with the forest's music, becoming one with the Earth's rhythm. At that moment, they discovered the profound relationship between art and the cosmos, a secret hidden in the heart of the mysterious land.

Bio/
Liuos seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his potent debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos' work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear, Lucidflow, and spclnch, and remixes for Superordinate Dub Waves and Off Records (Belgium).

I really feel so much gratitude, that my activities as a guest mix host implements such a high quality from the beginning until now. And I will do my best to keep these levels in future. I am sure, what wanna float in will come through.
So this is my first guestmix in 2024. And I am very happy about it, because it is another unique artist who I wanna give space on my platform. This time it is @seabra_monkey  who got through to me.Thanks so much, really appreciate this special creation!🙏✨
Here are some personal words from him as an indroduction:
"As I like to add some extra Seabra Monkey sauce to all my mixtapes, I spoiled a bit too much on this one! Out of twelve tracks, eleven are edited in some way or another. Some small, some big. The mixtape has musical influences of genres like Dubtechno, Experimental, Ambient and Industrial. The tracks that needed a pull back into the Dub genre have added synths, reverbs, echoes and other stuff. This mixtape is special to me as during the process I kept on editing tracks. It was great fun and it brought me new insides on my producing skills. I hope all you listeners will enjoy it. A special shoutout to Sai for challenging me on this one and giving this Mixtape a spin on her platform!

It's such a big pleasure for me to have Dan a.k.a. DJ Sideways now on my channel, presenting his session for some Moments Of Light 'n Darkness (MLD).

I really love his way not making big words about huge things he gets spinning and rolling -  also with his growing YouToube Channel, where one by one well known gives each other the handle to present themselves with a dubtechno mixtape. Actually this channel it was which makes me switch to Youtube more often now, listening to his uploads regularly with much interest! His passion how he is doing it impresses and inspires me. I'm really happy about this supportive and kind connection, also with other kind cooperations in the sourroundings, which will result in nuff cool things in future, I can bet!

Sideways for MLD - guestmix

A transmission materialised in our inbox.  Initially veiled in suspicion, this clandestine missive tantalised us with it's cryptic origins.   I mean you just dont ignore emails with subject a title like; "Your Prize Awaits!" do you??

Trepidation aside, we delved in, this is a dub techno mix from a source unknown, known only as AARO.  With a few new and older recognisable tracks we can only surmise that it is someone with their eyes (and ears) wide open.

Lets hope this is the first on many disclosed mixes becasue we like what we hear.
