WHAT U WANT

The Love Elektrik is seductive synth-and-guitar-driven funk pop personified. Tailor-made for heavy rotation, this Nashville-based outfit — the brainchild of American frontman Anthony Rankin and Swedish bassist Victor Brodén — fuses the ethereal funk of the 1980s with a millennial pop aesthetic, a bridge between the Minneapolis Sound of Prince and the modern ethos of artists like Maroon 5 and Nick Jonas.
