Author, poet, cabaret artist, songwriter, voice actor, journalist and even pastor: Volker C. Jacoby is active in many fields.

He spent his childhood and youth in St. Ingbert. Saarland, Germany, where he attended the humanistic and classical language branch of the State Secondary School. After university and various jobs, he began working freelance for „Saarländischer Rundfunk“ Radio, initially as a correspondent for the SR 3 regional news program, in parallel with his readings and literary solo cabaret programs. This was followed by roles as a narrator for radio plays, as a voice actor, and for various commercials.

In 1977, Jacoby teamed up with Schorsch Seitz to form the duo "Jacoby & Schorsch." Together, they primarily composed humorous songs in Standard German and the Rhenish-Franconian-Saarland dialect with a cabaret-like, ironic touch. Their dialect songs, in particular, filled a clearly existing gap in the market, especially since "SR 3 Saarlandwelle" featured them permanently on their programming, thus making them known to a wider audience. Subsequently, "Jacoby and Schorsch" produced three vinyl albums and three singles. During their tours, they also performed open-air gigs with rock bands.

Soon well known beyond the borders of Saarland, the duo received engagements in Berlin, Stuttgart (Südfunk), Cologne (Westdeutscher Rundfunk), Frankfurt, Munich, Basel, and Brussels, among others. During a TV recording at the Renitenztheater in Stuttgart, they also met Mathias Richling and Karl Dall. Jacoby collaborated with the latter several times for RTL on the radio show "Die schlaue Stunde." In 1993, the popularity of "Jacoby & Schorsch" peaked – not least through their appearances with Hanns Dieter Hüsch  (A "Hüsch Evening" with music in memory of his friend and cabaret colleague Hanns Dieter Hüsch was added to the repertoire – later in 2010).

He moved to France 1994. Since then, he has been performed readings, including singing. His dialect contributions have provided him with a rewarding outlet in the "Mundartring Saar" (Saarland dialect circle), including as a reciter of poems by deceased fellow authors, to whom he lends his voice.

Constantly prolific in literary terms, his poems are in the tradition of comic poetry in the style of Wilhelm Busch, Christian Morgenstern, Joachim Ringelnatz, Eugen Roth, Heinz Erhardt, and Robert Gernhardt. Volker C. Jacoby also publishes his poetry and prose on LiteratPro, Facebook, and YouTube. Since 2025, he has been setting his poems to music and is constantly writing new songs. And, of course, he continues to write his cheerful, humorous, and often very quirky poems.

My name is Rayna and I host a radio show on VOWR.ca (VOWR 800AM if you’re on the Island) It is a wonderful all volunteer Radio Station celebrating 100 YEARS on the air in 2024  We are located in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada.  

I started a new show called the “The Unsigned Radio Hour” where I give artists from SoundCloud and other venues a chance to have their songs heard on the radio. 

I love listening to, writing or playing music.  I understand what a wonderful feeling it is to share that love and passion with others.

Geschwätz GmbH began coming together in May, 2024 when aspiring DJ and producer, Petra Joy Fischer, met her soul mate, Austrian trumpetist, arranger, singer, rapper, and master brewer, Peter Roland Kuhn, on a platform at Hamburg-Altona Bahnhof en route to the warm-up party for the 2024 Schlagermove festival. From the farmlands outside of Schleswig, Fischer had found office work in Hamburg depressing, and trying to break into the city's saturated DJ and electronic music scene a constant frustration. She subsequently abandoned city life for her new-found love and the mountanous beauty of rural Austria. Already by early June, she had packed down her vinyl collection, grow room, and home studio and re-located permanently to Kuhn's remote home town, the mountain-locked village of Brandt. There the inseparable, reclusive couple began pumping out a wide selection of tracks, employing the services of Kuhn's own talented, Reggae-inspired, home-town, brass schlager band (Die Einheimischen). The resulting musical constellation melds some of the pair's favorite styles: Glitch & Electronica, Ska, Reggae, Dub, Hip Hop, Trip-Hop, Rap, 1940's & '50's Jazz & Swing, Polka, World Music, Analogue & Digital Turntablism, EDM, and German Party-/Pop-/Folk- Schlager. Shortly after meeting, Petra joined Peter on a visit to his brother in Denmark. There the couple met their primary collaborator, musician and co-producer, Jah Bozo, a good friend of Peter's brother. An electronic producer since the 1980's, Jah Bozo, is online live almost daily from Copenhagen with Petra and/or Peter at their home studio deep in the Austria Alps. When Peter's worklife as master brewer at Brandt Bierhalle keeps him from the studio, Petra Joy and Jah Bozo occupy themselves with their own tracks, often collaborating with other band members from Die Einheimischen, particularly the multi-talented Lauer sisters - Birgit and Simone. The production team have recently (Spring/Summer 2025) been recording and producing a bunch of Die Einheimischen's own Reggae-driven Schlager tracks for posterity, fun, and profit. Likewise, Geschwätz is collaborating on tracks with friends and producers around the world. These include The Ruff Mate (UK), SpiceDoubt (Germany), and young South African producer and visual artist, Lesedi Dlamini, from Bantfu Beliciniso. Many of these tracks and collaborations can also be found here (and currently nowhere else). Soon come!

In the early part of 2023, the Triune God unexpectedly transformed my mind and renewed my heart, and I gave my life to Christ.
