As you set out for Ithaka
hope the voyage is a long one,
full of adventure, full of discovery.
Laistrygonians and Cyclops,
angry Poseidon—don't be afraid of them:
you'll never find things like that on your way
as long as you keep your thoughts raised high,
as long as a rare excitement
stirs your spirit and your body.
Laistrygonians and Cyclops,
wild Poseidon—you won't encounter them
unless you bring them along inside your soul,
unless your soul sets them up in front of you.

Hope the voyage is a long one.
May there be many a summer morning when,
with what pleasure, what joy,
you come into harbors seen for the first time;
may you stop at Phoenician trading stations
to buy fine things,
mother of pearl and coral, amber and ebony,
sensual perfume of every kind—
as many sensual perfumes as you can;
and may you visit many Egyptian cities
to gather stores of knowledge from their scholars.

Keep Ithaka always in your mind.
Arriving there is what you are destined for.
But do not hurry the journey at all.
Better if it lasts for years,
so you are old by the time you reach the island,
wealthy with all you have gained on the way,
not expecting Ithaka to make you rich.

Ithaka gave you the marvelous journey.
Without her you would not have set out.
She has nothing left to give you now.

And if you find her poor, Ithaka won't have fooled you.
Wise as you will have become, so full of experience,
you will have understood by then what these Ithakas mean.

Νὰ εὔχεσαι νά ῾ναι μακρὺς ὁ δρόμος. Πολλὰ τὰ καλοκαιρινὰ πρωινὰ νὰ εἶναι ποῦ μὲ τί εὐχαρίστηση, μὲ τί χαρὰ θὰ μπαίνεις σὲ λιμένας πρωτοειδωμένους.
Νὰ σταματήσεις σ᾿ ἐμπορεῖα Φοινικικά, καὶ τὲς καλὲς πραγμάτειες ν᾿ ἀποκτήσεις, σεντέφια καὶ κοράλλια, κεχριμπάρια κ᾿ ἔβενους, καὶ ἡδονικὰ μυρωδικὰ κάθε λογῆς, ὅσο μπορεῖς πιὸ ἄφθονα ἡδονικὰ μυρωδικά.
Σὲ πόλεις Αἰγυπτιακὲς πολλὲς νὰ πᾷς, νὰ μάθεις καὶ νὰ μάθεις ἀπ᾿ τοὺς σπουδασμένους. Πάντα στὸ νοῦ σου νά ῾χεις τὴν Ἰθάκη. Τὸ φθάσιμον ἐκεῖ εἶν᾿ ὁ προορισμός σου.
Ἀλλὰ μὴ βιάζεις τὸ ταξίδι διόλου. Καλλίτερα χρόνια πολλὰ νὰ διαρκέσει. Καὶ γέρος πιὰ ν᾿ ἀράξεις στὸ νησί, πλούσιος μὲ ὅσα κέρδισες στὸν δρόμο, μὴ προσδοκώντας πλούτη νὰ σὲ δώσει ἡ Ἰθάκη.
Ἡ Ἰθάκη σ᾿ ἔδωσε τ᾿ ὡραῖο ταξίδι. Χωρὶς αὐτὴν δὲν θά ῾βγαινες στὸν δρόμο. Ἄλλα δὲν ἔχει νὰ σὲ δώσει πιά.
Κι ἂν πτωχικὴ τὴν βρεῖς, ἡ Ἰθάκη δὲν σὲ γέλασε. Ἔτσι σοφὸς ποὺ ἔγινες, μὲ τόση πεῖρα, ἤδη θὰ τὸ κατάλαβες οἱ Ἰθάκες τὶ σημαίνουν.

Vor den Lästrygonen und Zyklopen, dem wilden Poseidon fürchte Dich nicht, solche wirst Du niemals auf Deinem Wege finden, solange Du Deine Gedanken hoch erheben hälst, solange auserwählte Emotion Deinen Geist und Deinen Körper berührt.
Den Lästrygonen und Zyklopen, dem wilden Poseidon wirst Du nicht begegnen, wenn Du sie nicht in Deiner Seele trägst, wenn Deine Seele sie nicht vor Dich stellt.
Wünsch' Dir, dass die Reise lang sein wird. Viele sommerliche Morgen soll'n es sein, an denen mit welch' Befriedigung, mit welcher Freude Du in erstgesehenen Hafen einfährst.
Halt' an an fönizischen Handelsstätten, um deren feine Waren zu ergattern, Perlmutte und Korallen, Bernsteine und Ebenhölzer, und sinnliche Aromen jeder Art, soviel Du kannst reichlich sinnliche Aromen.
In viele Ägyptische Städte gehe, um zu lernen und lerne von den Studierten. Immer in Deinem Geiste behalte Ithaka. Deine dortige Ankunft ist Dein Ziel.
Aber dräng' Deine Reise bloß nicht zur Eile. Besser ist's, wenn sie viel Jahre lang dauert. Und erst als Greis die Insel erreichst, reich mit Allem, was Du auf dem Weg gewonnen, nicht erwartend, dass Dir Ithaka Reichtum bescheren würde.
Ithaka gab' Dir die schöne Reise. Ohne sie hättest Du Dich nicht auf den Weg gemacht. Mehr kann sie Dir nicht mehr geben.
Auch, wenn Du sie ärmlich findest, sie hat Dich nicht getäuscht. So weise Du geworden, mit so viel Erfahrung, wirst Du schon längst verstanden haben, was Ithakas bedeuten.

se l’anima non te li mette contro.

Devi augurarti che la strada sia lunga. Che i mattini d’estate siano tanti quando nei porti – finalmente e con che gioia - toccherai terra tu per la prima volta: negli empori fenici indugia e acquista madreperle coralli ebano e ambre tutta merce fina, anche profumi penetranti d’ogni sorta; piu’ profumi inebrianti che puoi, va in molte citta` egizie impara una quantità di cose dai dotti.
Sempre devi avere in mente Itaca - raggiungerla sia il pensiero costante. Soprattutto, non affrettare il viaggio; fa che duri a lungo, per anni, e che da vecchio metta piede sull’isola, tu, ricco dei tesori accumulati per strada senza aspettarti ricchezze da Itaca. Itaca ti ha dato il bel viaggio, senza di lei mai ti saresti messo sulla strada: che cos’altro ti aspetti?
E se la trovi povera, non per questo Itaca ti avrà deluso. Fatto ormai savio, con tutta la tua esperienza addosso gia` tu avrai capito cio` che Itaca vuole significare.

Marocco's Way

This is my first composition in 2014. Flower motif's piano piece.
Title's word, Ran means orchid in Japanese.I imaged fantastic flower that is blooming in mind, and trying to express scene of oriental on classical piano.

So Hum is derived from Sanskrit and literally means “I am That” . it means identifying oneself with the universe or ultimate reality. As we meditate on this, we realise that we are all one, we have all come from one Infinite Source, and a part (Ansh) of that infinite source is present in all of us. We are all connected.
“You are the same as I am” OM is the sound of universe. Om Soham ~ I am the universe, I am part of it, I am connected to that Infinite source.

The Amazing Sound of Tibetan Singing Bowls

Tibet ses terapisi : Tibet Ses Çanakları binlerce yıllık Tibet Bön geleneğine dayanır.
