If you are looking for the next nu-disco star, look no further, you have most assuredly come to the right address. The 23-year-old Kerry-based SHEE has been into producing experimental beats for nearly ten years now, kicking off with drum and bass before blatantly showing an interest for entrancing French house and disco rhythms. In 2016, he co-founded with two sidekicks “Touch of Techno”, a Limerick-based crew which has been going gangbusters so far, crisply booking the cream of the current electronic music scene with the likes of FJAAK, Dan Shake or Saoirse. This milestone has been pivotal in his career development as he had the chance to learn from the whole ecosystem, thus leading to awakening his full potential and honing his native skills. To crown it all, the man is arguably not stopping there as he also has been a vital player in the finest Irish festivals such as Life or Mass, and is definitely growing stature beyond local borders.

Always at the top of his game, he is serving up on a tray an exquisite and candid disco house set, gathering genuine French groovy vibes from Marie Chaptal, Paradis or Mézigue. Stay at home, pick up your sleeves, wash your hands, and get your best dance moves ready for the next hour.

Next up on plastic/vibes is the multi-talented meggy; an artist who wears all the hats, being a DJ, producer and vocalist at the same time. Her artistic journey is at the opposite of what you could define as standard, from slipping at underage into Berlin’s Tresor to nailing it at Boiler Room in 2015, by way of casually singing on electronic music tracks. Over the years, her style has been majestically developing halfway between R&B-trained vocals and spot-on melodious house, invariably endorsing an unescapable but pleasant emotional and intense atmosphere. While pitching her soft and enthralling voice to tunes from Till Von Sein, Rampa or Fritz Kalkbrenner, she has also been a regular dealer of stellar records to Suol label, which now feels like home to her. Having said all that, no wonder she is now regularly having gigs in Berlin’s most respected venues (Zur Wilden Renate, ://about blank or IPSE) and across borders, sharing the stage with top-flight house names.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for the dazzling mix she has tenderly worked up, unearthing underground tunes from Paradiso Rhythm, DJ Sports or DJ Lettuce. Let yourself carried along with those harmonious house vibes as a taster of what life will probably sound like when we all get to dance together again.

~ Donald’s House [Australia] ~

From a couple of bros making tunes in their bedrooms to Australia’s most promising newcomers, this is the genuinely blood-tied project incarnated by Peter & James Isaacs, better known as Melbourne’s brotherly duo Donald’s House. After Peter sneaking James into a party to introduce him to the sheer beauty of dance music, they logically decided to unite right after. Their uncommon 7-year age gap did not prevent them from making high-quality tunes, as their dance-floor filler track “Dan’s Dancing” has got everyone to agree on their talent, including us, one year ago. When it comes to production, they are into undefined 80s drums-and-synths-based sound we would brand somewhere between sturdy italo disco, cosmic balearic and sensual Italian dream house. Undoubtedly influenced by early 90s house and disco from the Paradise Garage era, their productions quickly find a home on Nick Höppner’s fresh imprint; Touch From A Distance. No wonder those guys have been CC:DISCO!’s protégés from day one.

You are probably not ready for this refreshing mix filled with irresistible groovy basslines, disco drum vectors and acid beats, featuring the likes of Bell Towers, Marie Davidson or Simple Symmetry. For the next hour, they are unbelievably taking dance music to a whole new level.

Sun-soaked sounds from California are plentiful in this week's mix from Liquid Earth; a wicked infusion of high-voltage dance music and retro-futuristic jams that really hit the sweet spot.

Liquid Earth is only part of the story... when it comes to creativity, there's no stopping Taylor (real name), with production projects including Urulu and Kepler Sound District each specialising in everything from euphoric nostalgia and classic house to ruff-n-ready booty-shakers, working with an extensive sonic toolkit that includes emotive vocal samples, weighty percussion, luscious chords and low-slung bass-lines. It comes as no surprise the music has amassed critical acclaim and lead to releases from the likes of Melbourne's Voyage Recordings, Dutch label Kalahari Oyster Cult and new music incoming on Leeds' very own Butter Side Up!
