In order to celebrate plastic/vibes 1-year anniversary, we are handing to you on a silver platter one of the finest and most consistent house dj in the game: Borrowed Identity. Romanian native Chris first earned his stripes as a hip-hop producer at the age of 13 before being prettily brainwashed by techno waves in his late teenage years. His productions are undoubtedly reminiscent of timeless 90s house sounds from Larry Heard, Robert Hood or Moodymann, to name but a few. He is not the kind of artist you could easily pigeonhole as his musical upbringing has been filled with a smorgasbord of different genres. As a versatile chameleon, his sets never look alike, and you can rationally expect the unexpected, from groovy house and tasteful disco to dynamic techno and anything in between. He has now been playing worldwide for more than 10 years in the greatest clubs (fabric, Panorama Bar or Concrete), and has left his mark on the most prestigious dance labels (Mistress Recordings, Ostgut Ton or Quintessentials). To recap, he is merely one of the most talented artist around at the moment, but also a genuinely and unpretentiously music enthusiast.

His mix totally does way more than credit to our birthday as he stupendously combines insatiable jams from Bobby Analog, Cody Currie or Four Tet. Not everybody understands house music but you will definitely feel the vibes of this one deep down in your heart.
