PRIOR ACT #016 — Nørbak

Denise Rabe released her first 12” on German imprint Mutewax in 2015. A solo EP on Arts sub label Arts Collective quickly succeeded her debut the same year, leading up to the label publishing her third release in 2017. This is also the year Denise actualized her own eponymous label Rabe.

Rabe the label, just like its founder, is all about techno. So far, three hyper modern brutalist sounding 12-inches from Denise herself has seen the light of day. Rabe’s productions are frantic yet deep industrial adventures, all carrying a hefty gothic presence. Her talent has not only caught the ears of eager fans, but also of recognized producers such as Rrose and Shxcxchcxsh, who both have contributed remixes for the artist.

Brought up on hip hop in a small German town, Denise learned to DJ at the age of 16, scratching and mixing, later diving further into electronic music via drum ‘n’ bass and jungle. From there exploring various styles of house, only to some years later finally ending up in techno territory, understanding this is where she truly belonged. Her DJ-sets are powered with the same energy as her own productions: dark minimalistic heavy-hitting eerie techno, often flirting with elements reminiscing of modern tribal- and trance.

Denise Rabe is a pragmatic grounded artist with a clear vision. Her passion for music has led her to be involved in the scene on many levels; whether it has been as a booker for Berlin venue Ipse; a radio show host for the city’s Sweatlodge channel or a club promoter for her own night HIDE and SEEK at “VENUE NAME”. Denise is also one part of Lyon collective TFIF, short for The Future Is Female, which as the name hints fights for gender equality within the techno scene.

He is symbol of beauty of Natural World, with resplendent aura coming from spirit, he is who perceives the vital forces presents in the nature. This is “El Resplandor de los Ciervos”, a pure reflection of the mystique embodied in the Natural World, is a representation of heartbeats of life.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ WHT MOTH

WHT MOTH is the name of the project made up between 2017 and 2018 by Luca CST, DJ and producer originally from Siracusa ( IT ), based in Berlin. 
Starting from a very young age, Luca has been passionate about electronic music of all genres, expressing his most authentic and creative nature through the gloomy and obscure sounds of techno. His style drives to an introspective journey, crossing a bleak and furious path at the heart of industrial surroundings. 
Luca started playing at local parties, presenting a selection with a much darker, deep and hypnotic soul than the one of the tropical island he was born into, consistently surprising the crowd with his great taste in music.
The 2016 marked the beginning of his career as producer, releasing his first digital EP, a double tracker on Switch Off Records. It was one year later when his first solo EP Space Mythological Creatures came out on the prominent Colombian label Mephyst, collecting immediate and enthusiastic support from fellow DJs. The first track released as ‘Wht Moth’ is on a VA again from Mephyst dated December 2017, followed by more apparitions in labels such as: Konsequent, Revolt ( Kontal ), Eclectic Ltd, TMM, From 0-1, NewRhythmic Records and many others…
He moved to Germany to satisfy his strongest ambition, where he quickly absorbed Berlin’s vibes and entered its clubbing circuit as a natural habitat, playing also a closing set behind the bars of Tresor.
A darker and angrier, previously-unseen, sides emerged from his sound, setting free his most sincere and effective form of expression.

Based in NYC, Matt Altman is a young producer/dj specializing in the percussive and cerebral sounds of techno. Drawing from his drum driven background, and time at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, he has had releases on prestigious labels such as trau-ma in Portugal, Business Class Records in Colombia, among others. Matt has played at some of NYC’s most renowned clubs such as Bossa Nova Civic Club, Cielo, and Output, playing for parties such as EXILE, Cipher, Push The Night, and Techno Cabin since moving to Brooklyn in 2016. With the launch of his label ALT Records and becoming a resident of the new and enticing SYITS crew, 2020 is shaping up to be his biggest year yet.

Korben Nice es un proyecto que empezó en el año 2012 con el objetivo de ir evolucionando poco a poco para desarrollar sus propios sonidos dentro del techno y la electrónica.

El proyecto ha tomado diferentes formas en estos años con colaboraciones con artistas de la talla de: Kalter Ende, Eric Fetcher, Samuel L Session, Cyklos, Leandro Gámez, Drop-E, Setaoc Mass, Hd-Substance, Michel Lauriola, Divide o Signal Coda y sus referencias han sido editadas en sellos como: Dynamic Reflection, Alleanza, SUB tl Concerns Music, Analog Section, TMM Records y Wunderblock entre otros.

La búsqueda de aumentar la calidad del proyecto está asociada al trabajo incesante que realiza en cada uno de sus sets, y hoy tenemos la prueba de ello con este set de casi 2 horas que nos presta.
