Hello and welcome to the first ReFrame of 2025, we kick off the new year with guest Solid State aka Richard Hardcastle joining. 


An ever present in the Sheffield underground dance scene,  Richard joins us for an interview at the half way point (1h 23m) to talk about his early influences, the evolving Sheffield dance music scene and some of his favourite records before closing out the show with a wonderful 70 minute mix taking in a range of electronic and disco influenced soubds.

His style leans towards the exploratory: a fluid mix of Dub, House, Disco and Balearica; often shifting gears mid-set and finding unexpected links between tempos and moods.
