The warehouse was bathed in sunlight. The band were set up for another session when Mike dropped into an elegiac and anthemic organ line and it went from there.  Matthias' drums resonated from the walls and "Sadness Blocks The Sun" happened".

The Last Crack Of Dawn by Siegfried Jünger

Recorded in a deserted warehouse late at night, if you listen carefully you can hear some of the ambient noises sneaking into the mix. The inspiration for the song was gifted to the band my Mike's old keyboard teacher, who played a Vox Continental in an underground psych band in San Francisco in the late 60s.

To this the band add dark, almost soundtrack like instrumentation over a hiss of constant feedback from Jussi's guitar.

After The End by Jeremias Langsämmer. [symphonic poem].

A haunting and evocative piece with a deep, resonant bass line  and complex layers of Rhodes, percussion, and synths. The musicians build tension throughout the song, creating a sense of restrained drama that is only fully released in the final moments. Despite its complexity, the track maintains a sense of restraint throughout. The musicians never fully let loose, always holding something back and keeping the song on a tight leash.
