This is a piece created by Duncan Chapman from recordings of forced rhubarb growing at David Westwood & Son rhubarb farm, near Wakefield. You can hear the rhubarb buds popping as they burst and also some mud as we squelched around in the dark. The audio has been cleaned up as much as possible to remove the sound of both the M62 and M1 motorways which are nearby!

As a matter of fact, according to WND.com, ‘the second highest cause of death among college students is suicide.’ What is going on? We are witnessing a rise of a narcissistic, self-focused, rebellious generation upon our campuses.

When President Obama declared that Israel would have to go back to the indefensible borders of the 1967 lines, it was Chuck Pierce who prophesied that we would return to the atmosphere of 1967. It is a crazy reality to consider that one who is part of our nation’s leadership, Secretary of State John Kerry, was part of the rebellion in our nation against the Vietnam War in 1967. Wrecked bombers and more structures than even Ballard gets time to write about.  A story written in the shadow of the cold war, it perfectly captured who and what I was in my early 20's. There are 18,000 state and local law enforcement agencies, with more than 1 million full-time officers and 100,000 part-time employees, plus undercovers and informants. The are 90,000 local governments in America. From 2004 to 2008, full-time employment by state and local law enforcement agencies increased by 57,000.  Sworn personnel increased by 33,000. Nonsworn personnel by 24,000. In 1992 to 2008, the growth rate for civilian personnel was double that of sworn personnel. Tyrants all.
