The introduction of this is perfect, setting the scene for your voice just right.

After collaborating with the amazing Nic Evennett before on ‘Feel the burn’, I knew that one day I just had to work with her again. So I wrote this for her one Sunday afternoon - and luckily enough, she liked it! Her voice and her lyrics are just perfect and have turned my original idea into something so, so much better. jeff tweedy’s bio tried hard to review tunes without capturing whom the song might sound like. so, in that honor here’s my attempt. 

go go go then stop slow and low cookin’ on a recently outlawed 4 burner gas stove. the stock pot has boiling pasta fagioli on the front burner; a low slow rolling boil. simmering on the back burner is honey-dripped sauce soon to be ladled over braised short ribs. paired with a 69 year old black licorice liqueur.
