In ATL where I live, rainstorms have arrived for the next few days as Hurricane Erin has moved inland. Yet, even on the rainiest of days, the afterglow of music created around firelight lingers like the smoky scent of burnt hickory. In my world, that “firelight” is a computer screen, although in the past I’ve noodled an acoustic guitar around a campfire. Who hasn’t?! 😀

Eric's piano is mesmerising and when he sent over his interpretation of this song I fell in love instantly. Very happy that Yvan added extra charm with his gentle drums.

I'd always loved Walter's original ambient instrumental and eventually I plucked up the courage to ask him if I could do my own version of it. Luckily he agreed. 

It was a joy to work on and when Skyline Tigers agreed to sing on it, things really started to fall into place. The final piece in the jigsaw was Syd, who played a massive role in helping me to re-animate and produce the final version. 

Thanks too to our good friend Luke, who was kind enough to play guitar on this.
