Kai Honey (1991) is a British composer, writer, artist, activist and cult survivor. They like being at home in their flat, stroking guinea pigs, cycling, ranting and throwing tennis balls in the park. They don't like climate change. Their work has been performed in the Southbank Centre, St Johns Smith Square, the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, the National Concert Hall of Ireland. They are the recipient of the Arthur Bliss Prize for Composition 2013. 

As a composer Kai frequently engages with environmental issues. Their recent pieces Shell Symphony and Anthropocene take the fossil fuel industry as inspiration. Shell Symphony was performed outside the Amsterdam Concertgebouw in Oct 2017 to call on the institution to cut its ties with Shell.

The purpose of Life Arts Media is that of creating a channel to allow all those people and organisations’ activities and works, which aim to develop consciousness, community or sustainability, to reach as many people as possible.

Such a platform, which makes use of the huge potential of Internet “viral” communication, can represent an alternative to conventional media.

The aim of Life Arts Media is that of supporting and contributing to a shift that is already taking place. Our hope is that by showing the diverse ways through which the principle of interconnectedness can express itself (in the fields of consciousness, spirituality, health & well being, sustainability, arts, economics and social justice), more people can be inspired and embrace this principle into their lives, sharing and proposing new solutions for an increasingly complex world.
