This my response to Nancy Sinatra's outdated "These Boots are Made for Walkin" I believe the time has come to get em on! - It is time to move from the threat "That one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you". It is time for women to rise up and take equality into our hands. As I have seen in the growth of women, sisters, aunties and mothers playing AFL in Victoria with over 200 more teams taking the field- It is time. Following surfing's lead in agreeing to pay the same amount of prize money in the male and female competitions - it is time. It is time for women in all fields to push back to the patriarchy and stand your ground!

Salman Duski - My Heart Please Speak

Timber music box is a audio/visual production company capturing the documentation of the Australian musical landscape in the city of Melbourne. 

We focus on capturing the live performance of small ensembles and solo artists in our studio located in Preston. 

The crew at TMB have been connected with the Melbourne underground music scene for a while now. The drive to start documenting this big movement grew upon us. We started shooting some gigs for friends, and realised that high end AV material was needed specially for the bands, as they require content to promote themselves online. We then built a stage and started recording bands, rendering back high quality material at an affordable cost.

We made the stage with recycled wood pallets that were used to transport sugar from a remote land to Australia. These pallets are ready to fill with sweet new music and export it to the rest of the world. This stage was setup to be an open but cozy space, decorated with all the ideas that may arise. We have set it up as an empty stage with a dark vibe, full of people and colours, with casual homely decor… but anything is possible!

What you get is a full HD video in the next fortnight (T&C apply) 
We'll make it look extra cool and sound tasty! It will then be featured the TMB video library across our online media presence on Youtube, Instagram and Facebook channels. You may use this new video content for your band or project as you wish. 

All you need to do is smash out your best tune and we will keep the best take! TMB aims to preserve the soul of a live music performance, therefore we choose to limit our edits in post production.
