On “Up”, the fourth and fullest offering from D.I.N., the Los Angeles outfit has effortlessly navigated a path of paradox. Josie Vand’s feathery vocal contrasts with Greg Vand’s persistent electronics, falling in and out of harmony with coy leads and unceasing rhythm. Nothing is hidden here beneath reverb and chicanery; sounds are clear and precise, forcing the listener to confront the splendor and mystery of dry electricity. Syncopated percussion drives beneath floating melodies, threatening discord while drawing us toward something wistful, sweet and earnest. On “Something”, a playful synth lead welcomes
before its menacing partner joins in lower register; at first we feel undermined, but in fact the space has been transmuted – it now points forward. 

The titular track is the most direct invitation to this new city, where light refracts through strange architecture. Fluttering harmonies point unhurriedly ahead beneath Josie’s delicate singsong. The record itself is a beckoning, and one can only accept. Rigorous adherence to the palette of hardware might suggest pastiche, but here D.I.N. sidesteps a pitfall of so many contemporaries: D.I.N. plays with the past without aping it. It is through this intermingling that “Up” becomes a record not only about the experience of living now, but about the common experience of living always.

Born from obsession with the genre of Black Metal and a deep
interest in Germanic history and folklore, Emyt is a music project
that derives influence and inspiration from the previously mentioned
elements, in the hope of creating a distinguishing audiovisual
universe that best represents the artist's depiction of Emyt as an
evolving alter-ego and artistic project.

This set aims to channel a suffocating energy, creating an immersive experience that weighs heavy on the listener’s chest. Inspired by an intense love experience and personal struggles, the artist navigates through emotions with tracks like ‘Kill Me with Love.’ The set delves into themes of self-awareness, depersonalization, and the overwhelming weight of being human, offering a sonic journey through introspective and intense sounds.

From Hell to Disco - #002 - Emyt

Vestibular Glow (Svyatoslav Nemchenko) began his DJ and production career in 2021 in his native Dnipro. His sound is shaped by genres with common cultural roots and time origins, and the classical piano school, which played a significant role in his musical development, only strengthened this connection. At the console, Svyatoslav strives to combine two emotional spectrums - dark and light waves of music.

From 2019 to 2024, he actively performed in Dnipro and Kharkiv, becoming a part of the events of the Ardor club, Spalah Rooftop, Cry Iva Bar, Torba Bar, as well as a multimedia event by the WONDERZ creative group.

At the beginning of 2024, Sviatoslav moved to Kyiv, where he made his debut as a producer in the Hybrid Moment collection and released his solo EP "I Don't Give a Fuck" on Regulardisco, establishing himself as a label artist in both projects. In the capital, his performances have been featured on Voloshka Radio, BRUXKT, 20ft Radio, HVLV, and Community Cáfe.

His productions cover a wide range of genres, including EBM, New Beat, Post-Punk, Electroclash, Dark Disco, Acid, Minimal Synth, Dark Wave, Cold Wave, Indie Dance, New Wave, Industrial, and Italo.

Bodymind stereo surrounded in the water of the air, water of the wind, water of the grasses blowing together, a silken synthesis of breathing waves. Green water runs, escaping with inherent flow to sunlight. Light filtering between the trees, slipping through veins, canals, across the surfaces of its thoughts, coming round with rubbings of the pulled rotation, a sonic komorebi of spirits. 

In the atmosphere between lullaby and fairytale, tone shifts the wager of possession. Humming in the millions and breathing with our ears. Eyes closed, mouthing birdsong to recall on the high hill, we follow the continued sweetening of the bounce. Serial ancients deflected into present time, matching happy and emptying out of the board. On the high hill, in the warm wind, rushing voluminous and clear. 

First single off forthcoming Pamela_ and her sons tape "waverider" on Crude Tapes.  All music to be release on April 11 2025.

Vox Sinistra is a Los Angeles-based DJ specializing in dark alternative dance music. 
With a style ranging from EBM and darkwave to dark techno, New Beat, electro, Italo disco and beyond, she combines a range of influences to sculpt retro-futuristic mixes for nonstop dance floor catharsis. 
Current host of club night, video podcast and record label Strict Tempo, she has cultivated a dark scene community sharing sounds from the underground to international audiences.

Inspired by the sounds of the '80s gay club scene for this mix, she combines bombastic Italo disco synths and percussive hi-NRG stabs with an undercurrent of freestyle, EBM and New Beat. 

Nodding to the modern indie dance scene bringing these sounds back to life for new audiences, old-school edits are mixed with future classics. Bold, sassy and craveable is how she wants you to feel while listening.
