December 2012:

Made of cello recordings and field recordings of me walking in snow here in Vesterålen.

The blue hour is when there is neither full daylight nor complete darkness and this gives a very amazing light. Here in Vesterålen, Northern Norway, this is the only light we get during day due to the almost two month long polar night. I find this phenomena very beautiful and I'm grateful for experiencing it - even though this piece of music might be very melancholic.

Sansning av naturen som grunnlag for menneskers eksistens er utgangspunkt for lydverket. Lydene, luktene og inntrykkene som vi erfarer ved tilstedeværelse i naturen, har en kraft. Lydfilen «Dovdan» forsøker å formidle denne kraften.

Perception of nature as a basis for human existence is the starting point for this audio file. The sounds, smells and impressions that we experience when present in nature have a power. The audio file “Dovdan” aim to convey this power.

Syn – som forstavelse handler om noe som går sammen. I verket bølger lyder seg delvis i og rett utenfor det som harmonerer. Verket fokuserer på den fysiske opplevelse av lyd som noe taktilt.

Syn - as a prefix refers to something that goes together. In the work, soundwaves meet in- and just outside what harmonizes. The work focuses on the physical experience of sound as something tactile.

Basert på verdens første lydopptak fra mars. I følge NASA så blir planeten grønn om natten, derav tittel.

Based on the first sound recording from Mars. The title refers to how Mars turns green at night and - a green aura.

GreenGlow 018 - 600 - 2021 - Ina Otzko

Prosessen med Sanselig Samhørighet ble til i samarbeid med Nina Krogh til en performance under HUS FORBI III, i Bærum 2018. Vi ville gi lyd til trær, vekster og løfte frem organismer og andre skapninger som bodde i Micheletsvei 2, dette stedet som skulle jevnes med jorda i forbindelse med E18 utbyggingen. Pettersen bodde her i 2år. Videre ble lyden videreutviklet, med nye feltopptak fra andre steder, bearbeidet og mikset av Richard Sveen til en soloutstilling i Heimdal Kunsrtforening høsten 2020.
