Who would have believed that you can actually ride a cloud? The perfect place for contemplating life from a distance, while soft white matter gives you the most comforting support. Sweet. I think i'll just stick around. Forever. Argh, shit, no! I'm slipping… dropping. Falling towards that concrete world i had just escaped from. Well, thats it then: approaching my final and terminating clash with the real world. I had it coming i guess. Wait, hold on though - can't you feel the rushing air, can’t you touch it, too? Don’t try to grab it, just shape it carefully… to guide yourself to a better place. That works. Here we go, again, drifting off towards alternative realities… until the one and only reality hits hard. The irony.

Creating a track list is always an adventure, it’s a journey with low visibility on where the selection process would end up. When I started to prepare for FM4 Liquid Radio, I just decided to focus on leftfield downtempo music – pure electronic tracks with rough edges and raw power. 
The outcome was amazing: The NERD mix is a journey through a dark and wintry landscape with some minor mood swings – probably the right feeling for a January hangover. Thanks to all the wonderful creators who made these mixes possible.
