Tomislav Goluban returned to Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee where he recorded Memphis Light (2020), to record his twelfth studio album, Express Connection.  An impassioned performer, Goluban teamed with dynamic co-producer Jeff Jensen (Tennessee Redemption), who is also the guitarist for the session, to infuse the project with creative intensity.  Express Connection offers nine new blues originals and a cover of Lou Reed’s “Pale Blue Eyes.”  Kelly Zirbes adds heartfelt lead and backing vocals on six tracks.

Help Me Make It Through The Night

I'm a Blues harmonica player who has spent my musical life as a blues student, enthusiast and performer.  Blues isn't only sad music and I hope you will hear that in my songs. I write most of my originals simply to tell a story.  So far I've released 14 studio albums representing a variety of music genres including delta country style, a world ethnic approach, songs from my region sung in the Croatian language, smooth & easy instrumentals, and even pure and simple rock.  I'm most proud of the records I made in Chicago and Memphis which demonstrate a true contemporary harmonica blues style that I hope you can dig.
