To mark the return of Ellipsis Records, we entrusted the three original tracks ("Rumble", "Rumpus", and "Hard At Work") to a selection of legends and emerging talents from the techno scene.

From the raw power of D.A.V.E. The Drummer to the hypnosis of Maxx Rossi, through the modern vision of Electric Rescue or the acid touch of Ganez The Terrible, each artist has appropriated High Frequency's DNA to deliver 12 new explosive interpretations. It is the perfect bridge between the Reims sound of the 2000s and today's techno.

Hammerheads welcomes another label debut, this time from Adam Butler. This naughty little number tells the story of every clubbers worst nightmare (“if ya names not down you’re not coming in!”). With it’s rolling bassline, dirty stabs, cheeky hoovers and bubbling acid, this track then conjures a short snippet of the catchiest of riffs all before breaking down into an old skool vibed breakbeat, that’s characterised by it’s mystical sounding accompaniments. Introduce the main lead into this spicy little mix, with its in in your face gnarlyness and energetic riff, it takes you on a head down, chops out journey that sees the bubbly acid reappear and take us into another breakdown where that catchy riff from earlier on steals the show. A brilliant addition to the Hammerheads ensemble!
