Since releasing their now-iconic first track “Mopedbart" in 2013, the Oslo-based band has served up just enough new cuts to keep fans eagerly anticipating more material. The wait is finally over: Drømmen Drømmerne Drømmer will be out on Snorkel Records on October 13, 2018.
In addition to three previous releases, the album features eight new tracks, and will be released on limited double 12-inch vinyl.

Hello Everybody!

It’s been a while since we last heard from Polar Sun, but worry no more ‘cause he’s back! With two finger licking originals and two remixes by non other than Sue Avenue and James Rod.

And being as passionate as he is, it was only natural he would name he’s title track ‘Passion’. True Belgium disco romance <3

Here's how Polar Sun describes his own EP:

"For Passion I wanted to play around with different timings/ poly rhythms. I made a lead that's kinda out of sync, there's something wrong with it. And that’s what I really like about it. The other parts are based on some of my favorite House classics.
For Mezcal Sour I took a whole different approach, I wanted to make a track with a bass lead, like Kernkraft 400 or Satisfaction in the good old days. Granted, it’s a completely different genre. I just wanted the bass melody to be the most important driving element, helped by some steel drum samples."

Remixes for Passion are provided by non other then Sue Avenue and James Rod!

Sue Avenue has recent releases on Nervous Records, King Street Sounds, Lemonade Records and Lany Recordings. 
Sue Avenue delivers a laid back dub remix with jazzy percussion, atmospheric soundscapes and groovy organs. Perfect for those Balearic sunsets.

Known for his dynamic en highly melodious tunes the Spanish nu-disco don James Rod is no stranger to the scene.
Rubbery baselines and sharp synth leads, the James Rod remix is head-nodding disco with a killer groove.
