Argentinian producers Oscean return to Tresor with Chronium Radiance, their longest release so far, in which the duo continue the evolution of their sound, coalescing the elemental ideas explored in their first two releases and yielding sublime results.

This landmark release will no doubt be seen as the point at which Oscean crystalised a trademark sound, balancing complex percussive rhythms with pulsing and cadenced music in which a universe of often oxymoronic ideas can be found, melded together with a deft touch to create a blissful sonic whole.

There is a sense of space and airiness to side A of the record as synth parts drift across the more solid-feeling landscape of the basslines and percussion: 
Opening track ChronoRebel is a propulsive trance induction that brings forth cinematic images of billowing clouds.
This nebulous quality is continued on Neon Harmonies where the highly syncopated drum track weaves through a haze of colourful synths that while lower tempo than the previous track somehow has an energy of a faster piece.

The flip side has a denser, darker quality to it beginning with Blaster Imploder, a deep and funky track that continues the convention-defying theme by being powerful and frenetic whilst also having a soft and exultant sheen. 
This is followed by Echoes of Chaos which closes out the 12" with a dynamic beat and spacious, sweeping synths that feel as though we are passing through the atmosphere heading towards some distant nebula.

Alongside the tracks on the vinyl release, three digital tracks expand on the universe Oscean have built with a truly ecstatic love theme, a retelling of Neon Harmonies that unveils a river of dub, and a low tempo, drifting yet no-less affecting piece acting as the closing titles to our voyage to this Osceanic world.

RUTA unveils ‘Erre’, a new Various Artists compilation, expanding its global line up

RUTA unveils its second Various Artists compilation, Erre, a release rooted in club music experimentation and aligned with the label’s commitment to a transnational creative ethos. With contributors hailing from Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Germany, the U.S., China, U.K., and France, the compilation reads as a dispatch from a network of producers who share an intuitive understanding of rhythm-forward, bass-weighted dance music, no matter where they call home.

The tracklist offers a dynamic, shapeshifting palette: vocal-driven club tracks collide with broken rhythms, angular leftfield techno mutations, dembow-oriented tools, and even UK garage hybrids. No single genre binds it all together, only a sonic attitude marked by intensity, boldness, and a diasporic rhythmic fluency.

Erre is more than a showcase of tracks, it signals a maturation moment for RUTA, a label of Colombian origin operating from Germany, as it shapes its position within a more global, post-local club continuum. Noise Casino spent years carving out a distinct space in Colombia’s electronic music scene—DJing, making music, podcasting, and organizing events across the country, with roots in both Bogotá and Manizales. Now based between Berlin and the Black Forest, his music has evolved into a percussive, bass-heavy, and club-focused sound, unbound by genre.

After a two-year hiatus, he returned in force with tracks released on Martyn’s 3024 and Colombian staples Artificio and Furatena. His music has been featured on outlets like Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, and Tropical Waste, and played by renowned names on platforms such as Rinse FM, NTS, Dekmantel, Boiler Room, Kiosk Radio, The Lot Radio, among others. As co-founder of RUTA, a party series turned label, he’s amplifying diasporic electronic music in Germany.

Fizzling the borders between different worlds of music, Berlin-based musician, Serge Geyzel originates from a classical and jazz music background.
Born in Saratov, Russia, the musician dedicated 12 years of his life to the study of classical music, with a specific focus on the piano.

New directions in life and music arrived with a move to Israel in 1999 where he fell in love with the jazz scene. It was here that he embarked upon a new journey, studying jazz piano at the Jerusalem Music Academy while playing gigs with his trio and other various ensembles.

His fascinating experience transported him from a background of traditional music into the limitless world of electronic music production as he began to experiment with software for creating new sounds.
An exceptional standard of music production has been the end result.

Starting from 2009 till today, Serge Geyzel was invited to play live on major Electronic music venues and Festivals across Europe. His debut release - a split vinyl EP alongside Autosim came out on Arkada Records in March 2019, as well as his first solo album ''Black mirrors'' on Battery Park Studio in June 2019.
His recent releases include the ''Blurry Vision EP'' on the American imprint Science Cult, as well as the split EP '', Escape from Andromeda'' - a collaboration with Errorbeauty on the dutch Zodiak Commune Records.

Since moving to Berlin in 2014, exploring the tendencies of electronic music in town, influencing his very own sound, Serge Geyzel combines his affinity to the early 2000’s electronica with the aesthetics of electro and dark ambient colors in his current music production.

Preferably using analog synthesizers and drum machines, as well as field recordings and self-recorded acoustic instrument samples, the musical result is being a combination of poetic layers and heavy electro beats.

Alongside the solo production under his own name and the alias Hostage, Serge Geyzel is currently working on a collaboration project with one of the most remarkable DJ's and producers of today's electro scene - Errorbeauty. Their tracks have been already released on labels such as Section 27, Crobot Muzik, Pyramid Transmissions, Outlaw 303, and Zodiak Commune Records.

Serge Geyzel continues to live, compose, and perform live music in the city of Berlin.

TL Premiere : Serge Geyzel - Between The Lines [Specimen Records]

At midnight, on March 13th 1991, a basement door opened at Leipziger Strasse 126, Berlin. Through this door, many passed, on their way to defining new terrains in electronic music. There they found a dance floor in the vaults of a closed-down department store, with a unique sound bound to dense fog, building night after night a history that was also a vision of the future. 

This history has seen in Jeff Mills’ first sets on three turntables, Underground Resistance's first live appearances in Europe, grandiose Tresor Park parties, to various chapters of the Loveparade with Sven Väth in the 90s and since then countless generation-spanning parties. These moments represent the highlights of infinite personal clubbing experiences. It is the manifestation of the Berlin spirit, emerging from its considerable strife. This history is not without its complications - from temporary closure by the authorities and several raids in the early years to closure and demolition of the old location in 2005. What followed was years of wandering in exile and, finally, resurrection in the new home in Kraftwerk Berlin.

These stories, conversations and shared experiences within our walls forge a resilience that drives towards a shared ideal, the Tresor sound: community, resistance, and the world to come. This was observed in the newly re-unified German youth, who danced and celebrated together from the club’s inception, and into the present day through ongoing community work in Detroit. 

Tresor Records was founded in the same year and began to serve as a platform for exporting the new sounds associated with Tresor all around the world. Emergent musicians from Michigan, such as Juan Atkins, Underground Resistance and Drexciya, were pivotal in shaping these early years. Their visits to Berlin would kick-start dialogue between the youth movement in Europe and these musicians. This story is one of friendship and community-building, inextricably linked with cities like Detroit, Birmingham or Edinburgh, where like-minded friends built something truly special, where revelatory rhythms soundtrack decaying industry in corrupted metropoles. 

Tresor Records has been the fertile soil for dozens upon dozens of creative minds, from the very luminaries of the scene who developed electronic music over the last three decades through to contemporary protagonists who are currently defining the sound of the future -  A more than 300 strong catalogue displays an unmistakable identity - the Tresor spirit.

To those that have danced before, and to those that will dance in the future: the light at the end of the long Tresor tunnel is a signal. A flicker amidst the fog. This is our future. This is our place.
