We happily present Holtoug's second installment on Connaisseur. With "Everywhere“ the up-and-coming Dane delivers the perfect follow-up to his already remarkable debut "Everybody“ from earlier this year. An amazing two-tracker setting the bar even higher and proving his extraordinary production skills.
"Sometimes“, the first title of his new release, is one of those special tracks which causes severe mayhem on the dancefloor when played at the right moment. A piano-driven house-bomb with a very long break demanding everything from you.
"Everywhere Around You“ however, is an universal state-of-the-art house track that you fall in love with straight away. With the haunting vocals by Theo Fearing, it is alluring from the beginning to its end.

Furthermore with „Everywhere“ we are starting a new artwork series featuring the amazing paintings by the young danish artist Sjulle Anker. More info on her very soon.

Muzik Box’s tenth release brings us pure heat courtesy of LA based outfit Futurewife. “Get Your Nails On” featuring Seattle based vocalist Brace Evans is the combo’s second outing on the Muzik Box label following up from their previous smash “I Work”. “Get Your Nails On” is a jacking house track which oozes club sophistication envisioning voguing divas and acid washed denim wearing club casualties. This cut is a nod to the classic 90’s House sound as well as a nod straight towards the future. On remix duties we have Karl Kling who delivers a modern day Hi-NRG tinged electronic disco smash, all charged with arpeggiated bass lines and vocoder vox. Kling’s past sins include a co-op with Grammy award winning act RAC as well a self-titled album. Lisbon, Portugal based Xinobi has taken a break from touring with his new album (out on his own label Discotexas) to give us a deeper & darker take on the original, perfect for alate night extravaganza. For the first release of 2013 we are happy to welcome back the Australian duo Trinity & Beyond. We've had them aboard in 2011 so it was about time for them to return.

Trinity & Beyond is a collaboration between the lovely DJ Trinity and multi talented producer John Tzineris. With combined forces their productions are from an exceptional high level. In 2012, they've had a release on the Pinksilver label and they were also involved in delivering some quality remixes. Their remix for Nadja Lind's 'Brain Candy Remixed' album for instance was featured alongside remixes by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, D. Diggler and Dub Taylor. Trinity & Beyond were in good company to say the least.

Having had quite a nice year it only makes sense for Trinity & Beyond to release another EP filled with new originals. All three original tracks are a perfect blend of moody melodics, groovy basslines and perfect percussion which results in beautiful productions. Additionally there is a remix by Ina Becker, who has made her debut on Cinematique last year. She transforms the title track into an uncompromised dancefloor filler while Australian producer Child slows it down to an off beat deep house version.
