We all wanna be cool! Take care of the earth and work together.

'Can’t you hear your kids startin’ to shout?' 
We are asking tens of thousands of kids to sing this chorus and act to stop the climate crisis.

Music Declares Emergency and The ClimateMusic Project partnered on a climate songwriting workshop on June 6, 2022 bringing together distinguished climate scientists and a curated group of songwriters to collaborate on the creation of songs that engage and activate the public.

One of the songs written during the workshop, "I Want To Be Cool" was penned by Will Kimbrough & Brant Miller.  The ClimateMusic Project and Music Declares Emergency U.S. are reaching out to climate orgs to get behind the release. The idea is to have climate orgs promote the songs with their membership and provide calls to action aligned with needs for the climate movement. We are reaching out to prominent guest vocalists to lend their voice to this crisis.

Pete writes songs with hooks, a dash of alt-country, a smidgen of something familiar yet new; catchy songs ranging from acoustic alternative pop and country to Indie with progressive lyrical phrasing but who likes being categorized? Pete founded Face the Music Collective, a guide for creative activists utilizing performances to inspire targeted individual action, one event at a time. With 5 albums to his credit, Pete Kronowitt combines performing and activism. Pete’s new album, Do Something Now, was released in September 2020.
