God created the magnificent rainforests, waterfalls, beaches and sunsets.
And when creation was complete, God looked at the gorgeous canvas and
wondered what to do with the paint and paintbrushes. God knew that these creative tools were so tremendous that they would be dangerous in the hands of mere mortals.
" I could hide them at the top of the highest mountain, " thought God, " but man would surely learn to climb and if he obtained these gifts, all of mankind would war over them. "
" I could hide them at the bottom of the deepest valley on the ocean floor, " God thought, " but eventually man would learn to dive to great depths to retrieve these gifts and I wouldn't want them to destroy each other fighting over them. "
So God decided to hide the paintbrush inside every man and the magical paints deep within every woman. That way only the most worthy seekers would discover their power and they would have to cooperate in order to create.

How often the Golden Sparrow is overlooked, its power taken for granted. Although it is small, the sparrow is both powerful and productive. It’s resilience and integrity shows us that we do not have to be big to make a difference. We don't need the best and biggest things in order to be happy. The sparrow totem reminds us that our self-worth can come from our energy and passion for the simple things that fill us with motivation and love. Follow the flight of the sparrow, listen to its song, and look for the joy of a simple life.

This set was recorded and played for an online virtual dance event for the Asheville Movement Collective. It's always an honor and pleasure to provide these journeys. Thank you for your support and for dancing. <3
