I really felt what Rumi was saying about flowing and how taking a random path doesn’t leave a trail:

My place is placeless
My path is traceless.
Open up the door to body and soul.
You already know how to flow

Traceless

I love the core question Rumi asks: Why do the stars bother spinning in the sky? Why did the universe bother creating itself? Why do anything? 

The only answer I can think of is love. Why bother existing otherwise? Rumi wrote, “You are the soul of the soul of the Universe. And your name is Love.”

Love is the soul of the soul of the Universe. It existed before anything.

Must Be Love

One of my dearest friends confessed, “I don’t have any dreams.” It was a crushing statement. It got me thinking about where dreams come from. I realized they derive from curiosity and a sense of wonder. That’s what my friend lost. So I wrote this song to help figure out how to help her find it.
