Finally I can sit again after weeks with a troubled back. I tend to like more and more experimental music ss the years go by. Projects like this gives me great pleasure to dive into rather than more melodic music. Here my D70 lays the background with a pad I made from organ and choir sounds. This is what the D70 is fantastic at. 
The two BARP2600 with self-resonant filters and pulsating LFOs gives me some new ideas for the next project. Two 2600's gives many hours of study in the coming months/years!
Gear: 2xBARP2600 + Roland D70 + recorder.

I've become addicted to drone. Again. I was the kid with his head on the piano, listening to the overtones die away, or pressing his ear to the steel hull of the ferry, enthralled by the sounds it created. I was the kid who formed wordless songs to accompany the sound of train wheels on a long journey, or hummed along with the fan on a hot day.

In the 60s I used to play my 45s on 16, or backwards, or by hand using razor blades as stylii.

I made cut-up tapes on a cheap cassette recorder in the 70s and experimented with reel-to-reel in the 80s.
