Raging Fyah ft. Kabaka Pyramid's "Dance With You" is featured on their 2nd studio album, "Destiny". Released in 2014.

Raging Fyah is one of the most talented and dynamic groups ever to hit the Jamaican music scene. Divinely united in 2006, five stunning musicians- Anthony Watson, Kumar Bent, Courtland White, Demar Gayle and Delroy Hamilton – set out to rekindle a flame of positivity in the music industry.

Though their versatility enables them to play all genres of music, most of their songs - influenced by passion, purpose and life experiences- assume a roots rock reggae flavour.

They write their own songs and ensure that every word touches the soul of the listener, uplifting and motivating people from all socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. The resulting melodies have been commonly likened legendary artistes such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Third World. The band also has its own recording label, Raging Fyah Productions, which produced their debut single “Peace Reigns”, followed by “Fight” as well as other work in the pipelines for several popular reggae and dancehall artistes.
The Band is committed to changing the world, note by note, melody by melody- spreading light in areas of darkness, growing when conditions seem most bleak, demolishing obstacles without remorse; the band just keeps blazing... like a raging fyah!

Ernesto Chahoud aka DJ Spindle is a Lebanese DJ and crate digger and founded the Beirut Groove Collective, in 2008, the oldest and only strictly 45 funk and soul party in the Middle East. His party has been the home of the top funk 45 DJs in the world. “Middle Eastern Heavens II” is an exclusive mix for Jakarta records, the second Disco-Belly Dance and Arabic Funk mix he has put together. It is the result of his 5 years of work on a series of soon-to-be-released compilations that vary from Belly Dance and Arabic Funk to obscure Lebanese Garage, Mod and Northern Soulers.

From Cosmic Cabo Verde to synth-reggae at the Horn of Africa.

Frankfurt-based label Analog Africa is easily one of the most noteworthy labels rescuing and reissuing Afro sounds.

In 2015, the label gave us an exceptional anthology of Afro-Cuban pioneer Amara Touré, not to mention a compilation of tracks plucked straight from the dance floors of ’70s Senegal. Last year, they blew our human minds with some of the most extraterrestrial synth music we’ve ever heard on Space Echo.

This year, the label turns ten. To celebrate label boss Samy Ben Redjeb and his DJ partner Pedo Knopp have recorded a special mix which we’re delighted to share here.

“What is special about this mix is the fact that all the songs, except one, will be released on Analog Africa in 2017,” says Samy. “They have all been handpicked by myself and mixed in real time, without loops or any other kind of gimmicks by Pedo.”

It’s a synth-ridden journey from reggae in the Horn of African to Cosmic sounds of Cabo Verde, wavey soca-boogie monsters and other proto-electronic Afro jams.
