Turning Tides is creating their own version of modern rock where there are no genre boundaries, blending alternative rock, grunge, pop punk, post-hardcore, and metalcore.

At the end of 2021, the band finished 8 songs for their album, Across The Atlantic. It hits a wide variety of genres: “Take You For A Ride" is a pop punk/post-grunge smash, "Off Axis" is post-hardcore/metalcore track, and "Crash Our Car" is straight up pop punk.
