Graphical sound (or drawn sound) is a sound recording created from images drawn directly onto film or paper, then played back using a sound system.

Founded by Mark Templeton in 2015, Graphical extends this principle into a label framework: publishing works where sound and image intersect. Releases take the form of books, cassettes, vinyl, and audiovisual projects, often in limited editions.

Graphical is a platform for experiments in listening and seeing - a space for works that blur the boundaries between sound and image.

Staalplaat is a physical and online record and book store located in Berlin Neukölln (Germany) and focused on experimental, unusual and extreme music, underground tape culture and DIY art and graphic design.

Staalplaat also hosts an in-house label, publisher and itinerant gallery called Le Petit Mignon.

pianist / electronic music artist NAKAMURA hiroyuki and sax performer / mixing engineer UTSUGI koichi. Hailing from different musical backgrounds in classical and jazz respectively, the duo makes full use of each member’s composition, performance and production skills to breathe new life into their concept of “finding new ways to combine raw or live instruments with electronic music.” Incorporating ambient, jazz, classical, shoegazer, bass music, hip hop, glitch and other elements, UN.a creates a multilayered, entropy-rich sound that raises the bar for new jazz and electronic music.
Intersecting, their debut album, comes out on September 13, 2015.

ピアニスト、電子音楽家の中村浩之と、サックス奏者、ミキシングエンジニアの宇津木紘一による音楽グループ、プロデュースユニット。
クラシック出身とジャズ出身という違うフィールドの2人でありながら、共同で作曲、演奏、エレクトロニクスを駆使する。
その音楽は、ブラックミュージック、ジャズ、クラシック、アンビエント等と様々な音楽を融合し、膨大な情報量を有している。
2015年9月13日に1st album「Intersecting」を発売。
プロデュース等個々で活動していたが、2018年から活動を再開する。
