The experiment took an interesting turn today, one we weren't expecting. Upon extended exposure to the White Noise, initially there was seemingly no reaction. However, close to the three minute mark, something interesting happened. As the hedgehog began to seemingly plan with Rock to find a way out of the room, the entity seemed to suddenly spring to life. Within moments they were... consumed entirely. The White Noise just... swallowed them whole. They vanished. For a solid ten minutes, they had simply disappeared. Afterwards, however, was the most interesting part. They returned, seemingly without a scratch.

Very fascinating. Initially we theorized that the White Noise had simply rejected them, but... As we released them from the room for further testing, the robot briefly fell apart into... static, interestingly. Sonic rushed to comfort him, and they briefly started to quite literally meld together. They quickly separated, fearful of it, but now we're more interested in how that happened.

We're not entirely sure what it was, it will require further testing. Our current theory, however, is that the Robo-Crashers are not among us right now. Not dead, as that would likely make them much more difficult to clone like this, but... these are not the Robo-Crashers. This is the White Noise, dressing itself and acting like them. To a tee, as well, even with most memories intact. However, they seem very off as well. Occasional flares of uncharacteristic anger, moments where they will seemingly panic and start to fall apart at the seams, only to come back together at a moment's notice. The clones are unstable. Further testing may yield more results, and we are very enthusiastic to see what those results may be.

First off, who allowed the Pokemon? I thought we were banning experimentation on non-anthropomorphic animals. It leads to inconclusive results, and it... doesn't feel right to me. But... whatever, it happened, and I suppose we will continue with it for the foreseeable future. It isn't ideal, but we can't do half-measures. Not now. 

...Miror B. seemed the most torn up out of everyone so far about this. It wasn't fun to watch, if I'm to be honest. He just... clung to Ludicolo the entire time, apologizing and waiting for something to happen. We sat here watching that for thirty goddamn minutes. It took that long for the White Noise to consume him. We need to figure out what exactly the variable is that makes this take longer depending on the person, that's crucial for this experiment to continue.

Hugo and Porter have been despondent, trying to find where Miror had gone. They actually came dangerously close to finding the lab once or twice. We really should introduce more security measures to prevent people from accidentally stumbling into this. We don't want to have to disqualify anyone. That would be bad for business, and we've already had to ice some... former associates for getting too close. I would very much prefer not to take care of anyone unnecessarily from here on out. I am not a good person, I'm aware, but I'm not a fucking monster. 

...I almost feel bad for the members of Adventure Machine. They seem very distraught about this. It slightly concerns me, they may not bring their best in the next match because of this. Sure, they'll have time to prepare, but you never do get past your first murder. Now, whether this is murder is up for debate right now, we have no conclusive evidence. I hope it isn't.

There was another attempt to enter the Estate by an unauthorized party today. We believe that it's Mr. Cicierega trying to get back in again. I do not understand his desire to get back in. I really don't. We did consider bringing him in as an Enforcer, but our employer said he wasn't worth the pay. I'm inclined to disagree, but I don't get paid to argue, I suppose.

Anything else? Ah, right. The thief is really starting to get on my bad side. She's started conferring with some of the contenders in secret. Not to mention, she's found blind spots in our camera views and audio recording. Even if she is severely annoying me, I'll admit. She's clever. I'll have to keep a closer eye on her when I can. Perhaps I'll have Ness tail her.

Lastly, the state of the past two experiments... The Robo-Crashers and Jonesy are still unstable, but have not broken down since we started this. I suppose that there's something to note there. The first person that saw the clones (at least, we're assuming) was Aaron Burr, of the Stage Stars. He's not taking it well. Hansen and Sawyer are trying to console him, to no avail. It's a shame, such a clever man reduced to drinking. At least Thomas has a friend at the bar now.

That's everything important for now. The next report should be our last for a while.

After a tough battle, Plankton's robot throws Brody to the side, causing him to drop out of his transformation.
Toby tries to intervene, but Plankton simply shoots him with his laser gun, knocking him into Brody.

Plankton: "Hahahaha!! You two are such fools! Did you really think you could beat ME?"
Brody: (coughing violently) "Y-You are an asshole."
Plankton: "Thank you!"
Toby: "... Looks like you're gonna be level 19 now."
Plankton: "... What? What does that mean?"
Brody: "It means you're a dick, Plankton."
Plankton: "Ugh, can't you just eat the dirt already?? I got a tournament to win!"

The ground begins to break beneath Fox & Foxx.
Brody closes his eyes, as Toby huddles next to him.

Toby: "... It's cold, so cold..."
Brody: "... I'm cold too, buddy. But don't worry, I'll stay here."

The two fall deep down below, as Plankton laughs maniacally.
Plankton doesn't see it, but Stool looks at him with disgust.

Nikki: "... You're cruel."
Plankton: "And you're supposed to be dead!"

I'll be honest. Today's session has put a very sour taste in my mouth, not that I wasn't starting to loathe this process already. What a start to this cycle of experiments, hm?

My employer came to me with very specific instructions. Sawyer and Hansen would be first, and Burr would be experimented on by himself afterwards. At first, I had objected, but... it seems that the other Enforcers were a little more on board with this than I. I was outnumbered, and quite frankly I'm not sure if it's in my business to go against the word of my higher-ups. I know what's at stake here, and... it's not worth [REDACTED]. I had no choice but to allow this to go forward, despite my wishes.

I offered for Burr to watch the process for himself before we started, and... well. At first, he pulled a gun on me. Understandable, I suppose. Of course, nothing he could have done would have mattered at this point. He always was a terrible shot, and even then, I'm not an easy bear to kill. Either way, I took no joy in this encounter. He agreed eventually to watch the experiment before going in himself. 

Now, the experiment itself was a whole other can of worms. The White Noise reacted in a more volatile fashion than we'd initially expected. Perhaps we were right, and the Noise thrives on high mental activity. Perhaps it works via... creativity? Something along those lines. I'm starting to understand why my employer chose to bring these people in for the experiments, even if I... don't particularly agree with these methods. They're needlessly cruel, but I cannot argue. Not now, not while things still are the way they are. In any case, the White Noise immediately was gravitating to them, violently consuming them and leaving nothing for a few minutes, which even we didn't expect. The copies created by the White Noise were... strangely quiet, too. Almost mute. Ironic, really. I'm sure that [REDACTED] found that amusing.

Burr was let in after them, and it took two hours to even have the White Noise start working. He looked... comatose, almost, as he waited for the end. I don't doubt that watching Sawyer and Hansen lost to the White Noise was... taxing, to say the least. Enough to reduce a man to silence, fearful nothing. I understand his pain. I've lost a daughter to a force nobody could stop as well. Sickness is difficult to describe, as is this Noise.

Similar in that regard, but... I would refrain from calling the Noise a sickness. No, it's so much more than that. It is not just a force, it is alive.

And clearly, it isn't happy.
