Eat Sleep Sun

This song evolved out of a guitar lick that came to me one dreadful night when ... no, jokes aside. I sort of liked the guitar part and then built the rest of the song around it. Kind of proud of that little bass solo in the middle. And please, excuse the vocal layers.

Replaced the original version with a slightly remixed one on 2014/07/11 (added acoustic guitar and distortion on the rhythm guitar during the "middle" part).

In Our Band

This set contains the complete album "Let's Go Get Lost" by German alternative rock band All About Ruphus. The album was released sometime in 2006 and never gained recognition outside of a very small circle. The band broke up a few years later, and this hidden gem remains the only music they ever recorded.

As someone who shared the stage with All About Ruphus on various occasions, I can say that their music deserves to be heard. The album has aged very well - from the funky alternative rock of "Cancer Account" over metal-influenced bangers like "Inadequacy", ferocious rock like "Scars" up to the grand finale "Harmony of Death", clocking in at over 15 minutes of length.

From time to time, I like to record some self-penned material by myself, more or less for fun. I hope you like it. This stuff could probably be categorized as "rock", but who cares anyway. I am by no means a professional with any profound knowledge of recording techniques, so these songs are being recorded with cheap equipment and software. It's mostly about doing something creative, really.
