Visha is a Romanian dj-producer based in Bucharest who discovered the underground electronic music scene around 2004. Over  the years he explored and improved his dj skills. In 2012 he started producing his own tracks, launched vinyl only label Fractal Records and recently digital only alias Vishaman and label Cymatrix Records. The many years in the studio producing have helped Visha develop a versatile musical sound that will definitely get you dancing.

Having spent the majority of recent years in London, Loopdeville has been on a constant grind to craft cutting-edge minimalist grooves that move the masses. Co-founding his passion project Delooped Records with partner G.Panchev, the pair had a successful string of releases on the imprint from 2013, featuring music from Sublee, Anton Pau, Alexandar Kyosev, and Loopdeville himself amongst others.

DJ and producer Andrea Ferlin is one of the founders of SLEEP IS COMMERCIAL. It was in 2008 that Andrea, alongside Francesco Assenza, brought the label to life with the release of tracks as duo Dunkle Dummies and with the launch of the now legendary SLEEP IS COMMERCIAL nights.  
 While moving to Berlin and establishing SLEEP IS COMMERCIAL represent the latest chapter in Andreas decade long career, his impressive and extensive background in electronic music have made him a familiar name on the international club circuit. Equally as prolific in the studio as playing live, in between sharing line ups with techno legends like Richie Hawtin and Marco Carola or regular guest appearances at Circoloco @DC-10 in Ibiza, Andrea found time to craft his production skills and has released his own material since 2006 on groundbreaking labels Freak n'Chic, Mindshake and Leftroom.  
 These days, with SLEEP IS COMMERCIAL and Berlin, Andrea is part of two unique communities, one specific and the other general, both dedicated to moving electronic music ever forward. And in Berlin Andrea has really discovered and shaped his sound, producing a signature apparent in all his tracks and performances, something seeming to sway effortlessly between the beat machine and the snake charmer.

After a huge success with Black Magic Woman and many other releases supported during major Romanian events this year, he launched his own imprint @octophonic-records, a label which will showcase @Priku_ro on its first release. He also became resident at Half Belgrade, a place which aims to implement a new and revolutionary concept in Belgrade's nightlife. We are happy to have him mixing a full unreleased set made of his own productions.

On the northern tip of Africa, the repetitive percussion of groovy tribal drumming permeates the Tunisian streets. These native sounds have long echoed throughout the continent and carry with them a heritage that stretches back across generations, and time itself. Kaisar Mhamdi’s story is firmly embedded within this ancient landscape. His belief is that long before Techno was born in Detroit, Techno has been taking place in Africa. Not through sophisticated electronic devices but through traditional hand made drums and indigenous chanting. Embodying this age-old energy, his dynamic style takes its cue from this past and his present. Effortlessly gliding between experimental and funky four to the floor sound perspectives. Conjuring wild atmospheres and whole states of resonance through precise elements, he ensures a complete astral journey. This unic skillset has not gone unnoticed and has resulted in releases on the likes of Moscow's @bprecs, Romanian label @Aforisme, and imprints @GEMiNiiRecords & @Danzha. All laying the groundwork for his debut LP, which is forthcoming soon on The Aviary.

We've given ROOT permission to unleash his full creative might, so we're proud to feature this monstrous 3HR mix featuring 100% of his own solo material. Produced between April & July this year.
