@Polygonia (Lindsey Wang), is a versatile art and music project based in Munich, Germany. Her preceding intensive and long practice playing several instruments as well as the experiences with other art forms, inspired the artist to translate her understanding of rhythm, composition and experimentalism into the digital musical language. She creates mystic, deep and experimental soundscapes with acoustic elements in it. Together with @Dycide and @MTRL_audio she founded the Ambient and Deep Techno Label @IOrecs

As an artist, Hypnotic Black Magic focuses on creating “musical journeys oscillating between dark and bright energies. Inspired by ritualistic music, atmospheric ambient and hypnotic techno, she offers through her sets an exploration of obscure, meditative and sensual emotions.”

Into The Abyss #018 | Utopian

Utopian is Isidro Bolívar’s moniker. He was born in the south of Spain and from an early age he always had a soft spot for introspective music, no matter if it was floor-oriented or home-listening. As a Dj he takes hypnotism as the foundations of his craft, although, his sets can take many shapes, tribal, deep, minimal or melodic depending on the mood.


   A few years ago, he discovered a new wave of Italian techno musicians like Donato Dozzy and especially Marco Shuttle which was a life-changing moment for him. This would define his technique, dj skills and mindset. Focusing on a more progressive based built up and smooth transitions. Musically speaking Utopian keeps an open eye on new releases but also on old hidden gems and will play them within the same set as long as the music pairs harmonically and respect the timeless quality of techno aesthetics.

    He played a few gigs at Alpenglühen, a notorious forward-thinking techno night run by the internationally respected F-ON in Madrid. 
He closing set at Calma festival (Madrid) this time with a more tribal-ambient approach to a crowd sitting and completely immersed in music. More  recently he played at perpendicular fest and the mythical club of southern Spain industrial copera.

   Apart from being a Dj, Isidro was an active promoter while living in Madrid. Confessed digger and record collector and currently experimenting with music in the studio. He also recently created a space for local artists to express themselves by performing through ambient and immersive techno streaming sessions, his name is "espacio ingrávido".


   Utopian was asked to play several guests mix for international big names like Campfire (Silent Season), Oslated or monument.


   He’s currently based in Granada where he’s actively contributing with guest mixes as well as supporting local and like-minded dj’s and producers.

My vision of techno is quite ritualistic, my aim is to generate dark but yet groovy and impactful atmospheres, using hypnotic sounds to impact the mind, but also caring a lot of about the percussion and grooves behind those, impacting the body as well. Through that combination, we can generate an impact on the soul.
But where there's darkness there's light, so through sparkles of light and melody I try to show that opposites are not that far one from each other.
This is my personal journey through universe shaped into sound.

Our next artist started more than a decade ago collecting and mixing music.  His background and taste is always gravitated towards underground & psychedelic music, but over past few years he understood the wider range of sounds that techno can express. Pursuing this new found love and appreciation his most recent sessions have cultivated a mixture of deeper blends of hypnotic and mental explorations of sound. He most recently released a podcast called Altrove. As for this journey he sets the mood with elongated transitions and subtle builds of pulsating rhythms an heady ambience. Imaginary Landscapes is Eduardo Vélez, a mexican dj and producer based in Lisbon, he performed a piece of experimental electronic music with Antonio Russek, a world wide known name in sound art, at Tallera Siqueiros in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Actually Imaginary Landscapes moves between Mexico City and Lisbon playing at different venues. Eduardo also has a duo project with Floating Machine called 'Teixo' releasing their first EP on Secuencias Temporales.

Very close to the experimental electronic music and sound art, Imaginary Landscapes combines different electronic soundscapes in his sets, always looking for the proper sample or loop, IL reaches and creates imaginary atmospheres: an instant into the inner side of music.

This week we have Michal Gutkowski behind the decks, also known as Ariet. His commitment to putting together music does not derive exclusively from his own energy, as he uses his rhythms as audiovisual therapies for himself and his listeners as well.

Michal resides in Poznan, Poland and has traveled many countries for his craft. On the 30th of September, Ariet has a new EP planned on the mighty KVLTÖ Records. 
Some words by the man himself: "I'm super excited to be joining some of my favorite producers like John Plaza, Vanta or Pattrn on the label. The EP consists of 4 tracks, which were produced in the autumn of 2021. I treat them very personally as they were the expression of the things that I was going through."

Definitely check it when it's out. But for now, please comfort yourself with this spectacular session.

Martyn Päsch continues to rise in the Global Scene of Electronic Music.

In his work as a producer, we can find a wide range of styles varying from Deep Techno, Experimental and Ambient.

In the beginning of 2018, he started his own record label called KVLTÖ RECORDS, focused on Deep Techno, Ambient, Experimental, Hypnotic and Techno sounds.

His world of music is being built in an increasingly distinct style, perhaps as a fixed part of deep techno. Abundance of synth melody with harmony charm. The kick that leads the power and the percussion that supports it. And ironically, the sudden appearance and disappearance of the break makes his music more self established.
