Aftershocks continue to shake the people of Myanmar, where millions remain in desperate need of aid, a full month since a 7.7 magnitude earthquake killed more than 3,800 people and injured another 5,100.

Speaking from the capital Yangon, UN partner IFRC’s Nadia Khoury said that the latest aftershock on Sunday measured 4.4 on the Richter scale.

“This is provoking widespread fear within a population already traumatized and also fear within the responders themselves,” said Ms. Khoury, Head of Delegation in Myanmar for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
