Blending real audio samples from the Antarctic and a haunting four-part composition, come on a voyage to the southern continent. Starting at Hobart, the gateway to Antarctica, we set out on a journey across the Southern Ocean to Antarctica and share the beauty, the often-ferocious conditions, and the majestic wildlife we encounter on the way. The final fourth movement is a call for action, on how we can limit the impact of climate change on this precious environment.

Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull joins UNSW Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Jacobs in a public event exploring how best to manage risk in life, politics, business, climate change and medicine. 
Professor Herbert Huppert, a distinguished geophysicist at the University of Cambridge and UNSW, and Sam Mostyn, President of the Australian Council for International Development, are also members of the panel discussion and audience Q&A.
The event, held at UNSW on Thursday evening 26 March, is hosted by Robyn Williams, the presenter of ABC radio's Science Show.
