It's time to step out of the dense fog of days past, tempted by the deeply reverberating siren's call of 'Visions of Clarity', Collate's maiden voyage EP on Upon You. While 'Glossolalia's thumping, heads-down beat locks you into an airtight vacuum from the go, Daniela Rhodes' beguiling vocal slithers soon guide us into a shimmering landscape of dubbed-out synths and craftly placed effects. These are only brought to the fore by label-head Marco Resmann on his 'Re-Edit One'. Here, a chunky metallic groove unspools into an echo-chamber of infinite depth. In contrast, Resmann's 'Re-Edit Two' ups the ante by adding a neon-synth overload to the mix, making for an equally immersive result. On 'Backpfeifengesicht' Collate then strips things down for the after-hour, letting disoriented bleeps tap-dance over a hugely satisfying minimalist framework, reminding us of the early 90s sound-axis between Berlin and the north of England. Lastly, Collate activates the bunker vibes by way of 'Awumbuk', concluding a powerful EP with a viciously moreish bomb. This one's for those bleary-eyed moments we've come to miss so much. Let's enjoy them while we can.

D-Vox AKA Daniela Rhodes first touched the wheels of steel over 20 years ago, with the purchase of her Technics 1200s back in 2002. She's supported Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Sunscream & Brandon Block, has played at some top venues and events including MOS, Es Paradis, Logic Fest and Soundwave Fest, and has shared the bill with craft masters Matt Fax, Frankie Wah, Junior Jack, John00Fleming, MarkEG, Space Brothers, and Cristian Varella, amongst others.

From mixing hard dance in her bedroom inspired by Tiesto, and through the heavy influence of her music loving parents, Daniela competently and passionately delivers multi-genre DJ sets ranging from feel-good disco right through to the deepest, darkest techno, and has gained a wealth of experience as an artist since her music journey began.

D-Vox is also a versatile vocalist and, since her days of singing old school garage classics into her hair brush with a dream of one day becoming a singer, she has developed a unique ability to accompany instrumentals within her glowing, multi-genre sets with her impressive live vocals.

Daniela is steadily becoming recognised for her skills in the studio as well as on stage and has worked with many respected artists including Philth, JP Lantieri, Xspance, Fractal Architect, ACAY, MellowD, Monsieur Pluspetit, Sweet LA, Collate, Audioglider, J Luada, Matt Black & Chris Sterio, Somar Nomar, Findike, Dolby D, Martyn Nytram, Mogi Wa Wa, Doppelstern, Stu Chapman, Joey Fehrenbach, Col Lawton, to name a few.

Her collaborative releases span across a multitude of highly acclaimed labels including Bonzai Progressive, Superfreq, Dispatch Recs, Upon You, Morphosis, Krafted, Cinematique, RG Music, Big Speaker, Zulu Recs, Modus Vivendi Records, HoTL Records, Stripped Music, ARRVL, DeepDownDirty, Flemcy Music, and many more.

Daniela's collaborations have also seen some mighty remixes by powerhouse producers inclusing Mr.C, Nichols, David Leckenby, Focus FL, Zstimer & WRU, Simon Harris, WLSN, Nostromos, KETNO and Konvic.

Daniela hosted her live show 'D-Vox & Guests' on Bournmouth’s Afro*disiac Radio for 5 years before making the hard decision to step away from radio to focus on collaboration projects. She's also aired popular shows on Southampton's Voice FM and Germany's Progressive Beats Radio between 2015-16. Her 3-month residency at a luxury Ozen By Atmosphere resort in Maldives was a highlight in 2017, and she spent the next few years that followed laying her foundations in Ibiza and Aiya Napa, performing at top night spots with Parasol Collective, ANHP, and Voice FM.

D-Vox has made many guest appearances on nationwide radio stations, including London’s legendary LifeFM, also at Shine879 in Essex, and with BBC Radio 1 residents Krafted for their radio show streamed live from The DJ Shop in Southampton shortly after which she was invited to play at their quarterly event supporting the mighty Matt Fax alongside Krafted residents.

An amazing opportunity was then presented to D-Vox, by dj/producer Laurent Schark, to share her sound on his Live Selection Show; the worlds’ most syndicated radio show reaching out to 3 million listeners which she accepted with a very big smile. The segment featuring Daniela was unknowingly picked up by Italian cable channel Canal 7 that streamed her live set, and artist interview, out to the Mediterranean masses.

With the help of her South African soul friend DJ Sharm Pillay, D-Vox sailed into 2019 with a four-page spread in global Audiation Mag's Jan issue which included her snap on the cover. Following this she was invited by Sharm to share some melodic techno moods with her SEKSiCuLLTURE listeners on Melbourne's Kiss FM, Australia.

As well as being heavily involved in the practical side of music Daniela is also a keen writer of more than just her deep and meaningful lyrics. She copywrites for Flemcy Music, Findike Records and Dark Hooks Recordss, and provides music and event reviews, press releases, pitches, and proofreading services on request.

Daniela also a proud member of The Black Chapel Collective; a passionate group of creative artists founded by Essex based music producer Steve Mortimer, with a worldwide, multi-award winning film & live show 'Connect', addressing important global issues using contemporary music, visuals, graphics, speech samples, poetry & dance.

With a bustling music diary, an ever-evolving and dynamic catalogue of works, and with producers queuing to work with her captivating vocals, Daniela has her foot firmly on a pedal powered by her relentless passion for the music she loves. Who knows where her talents will take her as she continues to share her positively infectious, and highly creative music energy as far & wide as she can spread it.

Patric Große, auch bekannt als Patty G, ist ein DJ und Musikproduzent aus Erfurt, der 1998 in die Welt der elektronischen Musik eingetaucht ist. Heute gilt er als eine prägende Figur der elektronischen Musikszene in Thüringen. Er hat sich nicht nur als DJ etabliert, sondern auch als ein wesentlicher Unterstützer der lokalen Szene einen Namen gemacht. Mit seiner Leidenschaft für Musik und seinem Engagement für die lokale Kultur hat er maßgeblich zur Gestaltung der Clubszene Thüringens beigetragen.

Seine Musik spiegelt seine Persönlichkeit wider: bodenständig, leidenschaftlich und immer offen für neue Ideen und kreative Impulse. Er bleibt immer ansprechbar und voll und ganz seiner Kunst verpflichtet. Patric Große, a DJ and music producer from Erfurt, began his journey into the world of electronic music in 1998. Today, he is better known as Patty G. and is regarded as a defining figure in the electronic music scene of Thuringia. Not only has he established himself as a DJ, but he has also made a name for himself as a key supporter of the local scene. With his passion for music and his commitment to local culture, he has played a major role in shaping Thuringia’s club scene.

His music reflects his personality: down-to-earth, passionate, and always open to new ideas and creative impulses. He remains approachable and fully dedicated to his art. Despite his many years of experience, he stays curious and constantly searches for new sounds to surprise and captivate his audience. His sets are more than just music – they are an expression of himself: versatile, energetic, and unmistakable.

It is the year 2007.

Electronic music is more popular than ever, especially TechHouse is on a thriving uprise and Berlin already became the buzzing nightlife capital of the world it is known as today.

Amidst all these creative and musical vibes a new label is born -  Upon.You Records. Founded in February 2007 by DJ & producer Marco Resmann, with a first release under his moniker Phage on Martin Landsky's Intim Recordings as well as great success as one half of the infamous project Luna City Express under his belt, and electronic music veteran Hawks Grunert, formerly involved in running Timing Recordings with Tanith as well as working for legendary „Frontpage“ magazine, Upon.You Records was already widely recognized for its first release, Phage's „Vut & Vat EP“, and started to drive on the fast lane immediately.

Originally intended to be a platform for music from an inner circle of friends as well as for aspiring young talent it didn't take long until the label branched out in 2008 with first international signings,  various label tours all over the place and a first label compilation.

In 2009, after receiving massive support from nightlife heavyweights like Steve Bug, Brothers Vibe, Someone Else and many more, a cover story in German electronic music magazine GROOVE and with a catalogue of roughly twenty 12“ releases Upon.You launched two subdivisions - Upon.You Digital and the momentary Upon.You Sweet & Sour Series – and established a booking agency as well as regular label events at two of Berlin's most praised venues, Watergate Club and the infamous Panoramabar.

Furthermore Upon.You Records teamed up with Workaholics Berlin for the launch of a merchandising line in 2009, introducing the labels unique visual image to the world of street fashion.

With the launch of the annual label retro- / futurespective „Upon.You Diary“ and an expanded core artist family now including Marco Resmann, Martin Landsky, ONNO, Ruede Hagelstein, Gunnar Stiller, Magit Cacoon and The Cheapers alongside many others, 2010 finally paved the way for success and fruitful growth to come in consecutive years in which Upon.You became one of the leading labels in all things TechHouse and related.

And it was even the first issue „Upon.You Diary“ that awed the electronic world with Marco Resmann's widely praised tune „This Song“, immediately ruling every dancefloor after it was released and drawing even more attenttion towards the Berlin-based label which continued to expand its growing international network whilst signing releases by Quenum, Kink or the UK-based longtime ambassador Steve Lawler.

On a jam-packed schedule of about twenty releases per year lately, including Ruede Hagelstein's Beatport smash „Minus“, with label artists touring the globe frequently and armed with the brand new, 2014-launched UYX subdivision focusing on raw TechHouse and classic stamped whitelabel aesthetics, Upon.You has grown into a major force on the international electronic music circuit.

Always on the lookout for new talent and keen to explore new territories, the future looks brighter than ever for Upon.You after entering the longplay circuit with the widely acknowledged album debut of the former Tel Aviv- and now Berlin-based DJ / producer Magit Cacoon, another successful instalment of the „Upon.You Diary“-series and finally entering three digit realms with the release of Marco Resmann's extrordinary gold vinyl 12“  „100“ - the onehundredth Upon.You single release in the label history which was released in late 2015.

And things surely are about to be busier than ever for all members of the Upon.You camp over the course of 2016, celebrating the labels 8th anniversary with a dedicated series of label events all over Europe and special showcases at Sonar / Barcelona as well as ADE and, of course, a string of high quality releases for maximum dancefloor pleasure throughout this season and beyond.
