“Ereeséon” is the upcoming album from Swedish composer Blameful Isles. With this project, he explores a more electronic oriented sound than any of his previous work. As he is known for his Jazz, Spiritual Jazz and Organic ambient music, this new album marks the beginning of a new chapter in his music career.  Ereeséon is indeed a mysterious and intriguing album, inspired by the golden era electronic and IDM music legends while keeping intact the organic and reactive style that Blameful Isles fans are so fond of. 

Today we share with you the first single off the album, entitled "Eranikus". The music sounds like jazz, but taken apart and rewritten by an artificial intelligence. As you start listening, the song grabs you and pulls you closer, liberating your mind and thoughts into an electronic landscape made of pixels that slowly fade in and out of focus as you approach. We invite you to sit back and meditate on this music, as we feel it's truly something special and worthy of your time. 

The full project art direction is led by Russian artist Julia Petrovia aka suspiciousobject. To present this incredible journey, we are taking a deep dive into her photography, and the cover for this first single represents a gateway towards the adventure ahead. (Please pay attention to the pink light, as this will prove to be important later on...)

This is just a first glimpse into this soon to be an epic album which, as said before, will mark a culminating point into Blameful Isles career as a producer. 

Hang on steady, as the final album is planned for the end of June. We'll share more in the coming month!

Blameful Isles - Eranikus

Yuki (Kensho) is the second single taken from the upcoming album by Blameful Isles titled "Ereeséon" that will be released this summer on Urban Waves Records.
The beautiful, atmospheric song features composer and violinist Myrthe van de Weetering, who adds in a special touch. The strings and ambience create an otherworldly experience sure to draw you in. As you listen, you’ll be taken by feelings you didn’t know (or forgot) where there in the first place. This track is very emotional and deep, and you’ll soon find yourself enchanted by it's mysterious ways.

We chose to spotlight this track to showcase its beauty and incredible atmosphere, but also to display the broad range of Blameful Isle's sound.
This track also represents a brief period of "quiet before the storm". His forthcoming album contains some of the most up tempo works to date, and we've planned a third single before the final release that will perfectly demonstrate that.

Tribute to Rei is at the peak of what you would consider the upbeat part of the new album titled “Ereeséon” by Swedish composer Blameful Isles. As soon as you get into the song it will take you on a trip filled with electronic bleeps and enthralling percussions. The song is full of hope and joy with a vibrant organic feel. Oil Slick is the first single from the debut album by Duoya. The Swedish duo is formed by Gustav Horneij and Dimitrios Karatzios, known notably for Organic Pulse Ensemble. Their first full length album is dropping early October and is called "International FM" and will be full of Funky, Jazzy and lovely tunes!
Oil Slick is a perfect introduction to the project. Laid back and chill the song is taking you on a stroll in the Islands. All recorded live on multitrack with a mix of vintage and modern equipment the music feels like from a different time. While keeping it pretty contemporary on the arrangements, Duoya has no time boundaries and the song's atmosphere will quickly win you over and give you a breath of fresh air.

The entire album was recorded by the two multi-instrumentalists remotely during lockdown, and the duo play together with such taste that you'd never know they weren't recording in the same room. Combining afrobeat jazz rhythms, squelchy synthesizer in the vein of the Headhunters, and their own potent brew of analog funk (complete with horns, vocals, and every kind of percussion imaginable), International FM (Funk Machine) is sure to hit all the right notes.
