A professional DJ since the 70’s, Paul has become an international club legend with his RETRO HOUSE nights.

Since those early days in the UK, Paul has built up a reputation as the dj who is passionate about his music - knowing exactly what the people want and getting the dance floor buzzing. 

His philosophy to keep close to his audience has been an unequivocal success. Involved in the creation of the dance outfit Loveland in the early 90’s achieving four top thirty hits in the nationals and dance music record of the year in 1994 with the seminal "Let the music lift you up". Loveland also remixed and reproduced over 60 tracks for other artists from D Ream, Barbara Tucker, D Mob to Lulu.

Recently the newly formed Rox & Taylor received huge critical acclaim for the remix of Red Hot Chilli peppers ‘ Otherside’. 

Having released numerous Retro compilation albums, his residency in Pacha Ibiza sparked the release of the Pacha Classics album; a huge success on a worldwide scale and the biggest selling album in Ibiza. 

Much has been written about this enigma of a man who developed from a teen DJ on the decks in Burnley to an internationally recognised icon.

LIVE INJECTION - Teesside (UK) based 7 piece band playing the very best of ska, reggae, soul & motown  - a very broad selection of music from the late 1960's to present day. Expect to hear trojan ska hits from Toots and the Maytals, Dandy Livingstone, The Upsetters right through to the more upbeat 2tone era - with tunes from The Bodysnatchers, The Selecter, The Specials, Bad Manners and more recently, The Toasters. Soul and motown numbers from the likes of Gloria Jones, Martha and the Vandella's, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Freda Payne to mention but a few. The band is put together through a sheer love of good music, alot of it being material band's do not do justice to - until now. LIVE INJECTION is sister band to North East ska supremo's SKA-BOOM! UK (http://www.skaboomuk.com) - both bands being founded by the bands drummer & Manager Matt, and features the familiar faces and huge talents of ever present SKA-BOOM! UK members Jason Simpson (rhythm guitar) Robert Biggs (Hammond organ) Ashley Muncaster & Zoe Hawthorne (brass section) with the super cool Brian 'funk' Lawton on bass guitar, and the massive soulful vocal talent of Miss Emma Louise Walker completing the line up - 'with real feeling' 

Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.
