Dan Hostetler refers to himself as “a very normal person with the incredible good fortune to have been able to spend over four decades with the same beautiful soul I married in 1981. We share a needy teacup dog and three human children. Somehow I ended up being tasked with another man's vision, Bryan Cressey's, of putting a free, non-traditional human-oriented addiction treatment center on the street, and that's what I've been doing for the last few years. Before that, I wasted too many years climbing to the top of the international change management consulting industry only to arrive at a void, bereft of meaning and flooded with my own, uncontrollable addictions. Now, clean and sober, clear and purposeful, I don't spend my time thinking about my negative net worth because I cannot wait to get to the building that is home to all the other lost souls I encounter and try to help each day of my life. I could not imagine an existence more chocked full of amazing stories and inconceivable miracles of healing. They're everyday occurrences that never get old, and I aspire to never leave them until I transition out of this life”.

SARAH RASKEY IS A VISIONARY ARTIST, A LICENSED CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOTHERAPIST, A CERTIFIED ART THERAPIST AND A FORMER GRADUATE ART THERAPY/PSYCHOLOGY PROFESSOR AT BOTH THE SCHOOL OF THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO AND DEPAUL UNIVERSITY. SHE IS THE OWNER OF SARAH RASKEY FINE ART GALLERY IN THE WEST LOOP WHERE SHE EXHIBITS HER WORK EXCLUSIVELY. SARAH IS ALSO THE CO-FOUNDER/OWNER OF OPEN AVENUE THERAPY, A CHICAGO-BASED PRIVATE PSYCHOTHERAPY PRACTICE SINCE 2008. 
AS AN ARTIST, SARAH BELIEVES IN CHANGING THE WAY PEOPLE LOOK AT ART. SHE IS DEDICATED TO ARTISTIC AND TRANSFORMATIVE LIVING, CREATIVE DESIGN, AND EVOLVING GLOBAL AND SOCIAL AWARENESS THROUGH THE ARTS. SHE HAS EXHIBITED NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY SINCE 2000, AND HAS CREATED A PROLIFIC VOLUME OF WORK IN BOTH RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL SETTINGS.  

AT THE FOREFRONT OF ALL THINGS EXPERIMENTAL AND MIXED MEDIA, HER WORK OFTEN INCLUDES COMBINATIONS OF LIGHT, NATURAL CRYSTALS, TEXTILES, GLASS, METAL, STONE, AS WELL AS AN ARRAY OF ADDITIONAL VARIOUS AND EVER-CHANGING MATERIALS. SARAH USES HER UNCONVENTIONAL PALETTE TO ORCHESTRATE COMBINATIONS OF MIXTURES AND MEDIUMS IN ANYTHING BUT TRADITIONAL APPLICATIONS. BY USING TRANSFORMATIVE ART TECHNIQUES IN A FASHION SIMILAR TO THAT OF AN ALCHEMIST, SHE IS ABLE TO CAPTURE COMPLEX CONCEPTS MAKING SO MUCH OF HER WORK PART PAINTING, PART SCULPTURE AND ENTIRELY UNIQUE.

SARAH’S WORK TOUCHES UPON A PLETHORA OF REFERENCES INCLUDING PLANETARY CONSCIOUSNESS, ENERGETIC FREQUENCIES, HEALING AND ANCIENT WISDOM TRADITIONS, SYMBOLISM, EXPANDING CONSCIOUSNESS, AND THE SACREDNESS OF THE CREATIVE SPIRIT. SHE CONTINUES TO BE BEST KNOWN FOR NOT ONLY HER EMOTIONALLY CAPTIVATING ARTWORK, BUT FOR HER PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES SPECIALIZING IN WORKING WITH ARTISTS, MUSICIANS, ENTERTAINERS AND OTHER CREATIVES.

Energy Unltd, a 501(c)3 charity, was founded in 2021 by photographer and creator Abigail Zoe Martin, with the intention of creating exhibitions and events that support the arts, creativity, education and to promote the idea of living in balance on earth.

Energy the exhibition opens on Friday December 16th 2022 at the Zhou B Art Center in Chicago, IL.Energy is a multi-media exhibition exploring living in balance, harmony, happiness and good health - on the earth and within ourselves. Our show will incorporate portraits, art, science, words and audio.

We will photograph and interview people from all walks of life - from integrative doctors, organic farmers, bee-keepers and holistic health practitioners, to shamans, mediums, performers and healers and everyone in between. The stories intertwine to create a new world, one where our potential is unlimited, miracles really do exist and we have a solution for every problem.
