In ancient French folklore Mélusine is a female water spirit usually depicted as a serpent or fish woman from the waist down. Except very unlike theoretically inert mermaid, Mélusine's two tails make her a siren of sexual possibility and erotic chaos in place of patriarchal order, a goddess of duality, exquisite chaos and enlightenment. 

Coming from a place of pain I considered the Seine and wondered if I use the controlled chaotic, of a process of creating sound meant to soothe by distracting me from the process of making sound to soothe even as listening to the results was only a temporary ‘yes’ of relief? Is there such a thing as 'only', ever?

Anyway, using the syntax of ambient to craft a regenerating pastoral viva new protocols, "La Chanson De Mélusine" seeks to dab a brisk but salving antiseptic on treatable wounds
