An Eye For An Eye

As I've started doing lately, this is another short segment of a previously uploaded song where I just feature one isolated track, in this case the synth string arrangement that comes in about 2/3 of the way in the full song. I've included Carl's synth track as well as accompaniment.

So I declare the merry month of May to be "Musical May" (as in song, dance and play).

Starting with a song that probably needs no introduction.

"All the Things You Are" is a song composed by Jerome Kern with lyrics written by Oscar Hammerstein II.
The song was written for the musical Very Warm for May in 1939.

Joining me is mezzo-soprano Bethan Morris, and we're accompanied by harpist Eilian Gwynn.

Emergence [orchestral/soundtrack]

This original orchestral piece sounds a little like orchestral/soundtrack film music but that was not the original intent. Although i do love film music too. As they always say, music is the flower of feeling and I hope that came across. Maybe I was just so appreciative to know that spring was coming after a very cold winter? A new beginning.
