Founded in 2023 by Barcelona based artist @PedroCapelossi, REFRACTION is a musical imprint representing some of the world’s most avant-garde visual artists, designers and musicians. 

With a borderless approach, the label’s output is inherently deep, and it is this one singular musical undercurrent which ultimately links our cohesive catalog together. 

Blurring the boundaries between house, techno and its closely related derivatives, REFRACTION operates with an inherent understanding of the principles set out by electronic music’s greatest innovators. 

It is under this ethos that we look forward to the future and in turn stretch the creative confines by which traditional genre templates now seem so passe.

Flying the flag for ‘quality independent electronic music’, born and bred on a national and global scale in their homebase of Australia and beyond, Balance Music have been at the very forefront of underground house music since its inception, expertly guided by experienced director Tom Pandzic. Their revered Balance Mix Series (Established in 2000) has seen the likes of Max Cooper, James Zabiela, Kolsch, Hernan Cattaneo, Henry Saiz, Danny Tenaglia, Deetron, Joris Voorn, Patrice Baumel, James Holden, Agoria, Phil K (R.I.P.), and more step up to the plate for one of the most essential collections across the entirety of the electronica spectrum, whilst Balance Series, their showcase for expressive tech, progressive and wider variations of house music, is a focal point of the sound. The latter has nurtured top-drawer releases from quality artists encompassing a plethora of upcoming and established acts. Steve Parry is unquestionably at the top of the UK scene, regularly playing along side heavy weights such as John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seamen, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J, he is the DJ’s choice of DJ.

Widely respected across the industry, his acclaimed 3 year residency at the iconic Cream in Liverpool, seen him rise to the top, regularly being booked to headline around the world, playing in clubs such as Ministry of Sound and the legendary Space Ibiza.

His ties to his home city of Liverpool are strong, where he managed the world famous 3Beat Records, and as a promoter, Steve had much success, firstly with his legendary ‘Alderaan’ nights which ran from ’97 – 2001 in a room above the infamous Lemon Lounge and helped to shape the very scene Liverpool has become known for to this day.

Now in between touring the world, Steve and long term friend and business partner Dave Seamen head up the Selador label, with many chart toppers under their belt already and many more to come.

CØHERA is a Belfast-born, Perth-based DJ and Producer who's sound bridges the timeless emotion of classic trance with the raw pulse of underground progressive. 

With over two decades immersed in the trance and progressive scene, his music channels the euphoria and energy that first defined the genre—reimagined through a deeper, more atmospheric lens.

Drawing from years behind the decks and countless nights on both sides of the booth, CØHERA's productions move between driving melodic layers, hypnotic grooves, and cinematic sound design—crafted for those who crave substance over spectacle.

Now based in Western Australia, CØHERA continues to carve his space in the underground with a focus on authenticity, emotion, and flow—creating moments that move beyond the dance floor and into pure connection.
