So, Tommy texted me at 8:13 Friday night to see if I wanted to come up to the city for a day or night or whatever seeing as we hadn't seen each other in seven months or so, at least, and the idea at the time seemed nice but my kids were sick and I just assumed it would be a 'no' from the wife. Plus I was working until 1 a.m. Friday night and had my first Saturday/Sunday off in a while so chances were I'd end up hanging around the house with the fam and doing a bunch of shit around the house that I normally don't get the chance to do. 
By Saturday I had completely forgotten about the presented opportunity until dinner time when I finally brought the idea up to my wife, and to my surprise, she was like, 'yeah, you should go'. 
So I immediately called Tommy who promptly returned my call indicating that, yes, the offer was still on the table, that his wife and kids were away until, like, Tuesday and that I could crash on his couch if necessary. Well, of course it would be necessary. Especially if we were to get steamed to the beams and work on something new. Which was the plan, after all.
So I fought somewhat shitty traffic for two hours until I reached Tommy's place a little after 7 p.m., Saturday. Shortly after arrival we whipped out a pre-rolled Sour Diesel and took the dog for a J walk to get steamed and to discuss how we were to approach our new song. 
We decided it was best to warm up with a few classics, 'Presently', etc., and then find a cool looperman beat to sorta find a groove to roll with over top. Then commence the layering and voila!
By the time we got back to the house, set up and steamed again it was 9 p.m. and we were losing precious time. We wound up selecting the first beat we listened to, the beat that you're hearing now, because I was fucking with this blues riff you hear now and it seemed to sorta work. So we got down to business and after a handful of takes each, this groove was born. By the time we got the groove down and recorded it was time for munchies. So we decided to take a break to order some food. 
One of the benefits of living in the big city is that you can order things like Thai food at 11 p.m. for delivery. So that's just what we did. Oh, and some cookies and chocolate milk.

Experts say that it was simply a terrifying accident that vitrified the ground over an average of 12 metres thick. 
Some even believe that a civilisation rich in knowledge died out for some reason. They have even suggested that before us, another form of life may have existed! 
The few remaining remains are of incomparable beauty and we will probably never know what really happened as we have no previous traces of our present history.

Les spécialistes experts disent qu'il s'agit tout simplement d'un accident terrifiant qui aurai vitrifié le sol sur plus de 12 mètres dépaisseur en moyenne. 
Certains pensent même à une civilisation très riche de connaissances qui ce serait éteinte on ne sait pour qu'elle raison. Ils ont été jusqu'à suggéré qu'avant nous, une autre forme de vie ait pu exister ! 
Les quelques vestiges restants sont d'une beauté incomparable et nous ne saurons probablement jamais ce qui c'est réllement passé n'ayant pour le moment aucunes traces antèrieures de notre histoire actuelle.

Bonfire Night or Guy Fawkes' Night takes place on November 5th each year in Great Britain with bonfires and firework displays. It recalls the Gunpowder Plot of 1605; an attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament. Guy Fawkes was captured before he could light the fuse to 36 barrels of gunpowder. Back in the day, children would make a scarecrow-like effigy of Guy Fawkes to be thrown on the communal bonfire during the 'celebrations'. In the run up to the evening they would ask for "a penny for the guy" to spend on sparklers, sweets or other treats.

With Mr Guy Fawkes evil intentions, he certainly got all of our attention,

For context:
It's a cover taken from M'Z's prism album, which focuses on concepts, and uses constraint to tell its stories.
The reflection is centered around the notion of Prism.
The goal is to create parallels between colors and musical modes (musical colors), but it is also a pretext to tell a more personal story in parallel.
Another of the driving ideas of this project is that everything is inevitably interpreted, no matter how hard we try to approach a totally objective truth, it will never really be the case.
This project tries to break down every particle, to analyze every atom, but each time it tries to transcribe a message, it will be biased by the translation that its own prisms and analysis filters produce.
Despite his efforts to find an objective point of view, he can only admit that his feelings will systematically influence his decisions and thoughts.
It will be the same for the style, while trying not to approach only one aesthetic and mixing all its influences, he will quickly realize that fusion even with an open mind remains a kind of musical label.
M being the guitar Z the machine, the idea is also to create a bridge between organic and electric/electronic music, a bridge between the code and its acceptance as the need to get out of the code. Released on December 27, 2017 in self production.

This song, specifically, is about the color yellow. It is the reaction of our emotions when we try to deny them and try to bury them very deeply, then they will feel rejected and try again, to capture our attention. So well buried they will manage to communicate with our subconscious that reigns in these places, together with this strange friend, they will then be able to play with our state of consciousness and we will be forced to adopt behaviors that will bring us closer to madness, until until we can finally find a way to better deal with these emotions, hitherto misunderstood, unheard and rejected.
