Neofobic was born in freedom. Improvised material melted into organic compositions reminiscent of soundtrack of a mime motion picture or a cubist painting. 
With solid acoustic ground and vivid live sampling the music morphs serene ambient and abstract jazz scenes with no fear of eclectics.

Celebrated Norwegian audio wizards finalized the album.

Erik Honoré (Jon Hassell, Arve Henriksen, Eivind Aarset, David Sylvian) left his landmark in the mix creating subtle treatments and three-dimensionality. Helge Sten (Deathprod, Supersilent) had the final touch mastering the album.

Neofobic is the latest album/projects by Dimitar Bodurov (piano, live sampling and electronics) and Jens Dueppe (drums and percussion). Having more than 8 years of musical history together, their debut as a duo took place at the Keys and Stix Festival 2008, an initiative by Bodurov dedicated to creative piano/drums duets. Since then they have developed a distinctive musical unity and rapport, which naturally let to creation of Neofobic.

James Frost is a musician and songwriter whose life and music are deeply rooted in the wild landscapes and creative communities of Dartmoor, UK.

He has toured extensively, playing shows with Martha Tilston, James Yorkston, Tiny Ruins and many other folk heroes, alongside festival appearances at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Wilderness and Folk East.

In the studio, James has been privileged enough to work with legendary record producer Clive Langer (David Bowie, Elvis Costello, David Byrne) who contributed production to James' first EP ‘Nameless’. 

Upon release, the title track was chosen as one of BBC 6Music Tom Robinson’s picks of the week, leading to a session for BBC Introducing and a sold out launch event at London’s Servant Jazz Quarters.

With growing support, James launched a crowdfund to record his debut album ‘All Of Our Hands’, raising over £16,000 from fans, with additional backing from Arts Council England and Help Musicians. 

The album, part-recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, is a feast of uplifting songs and acoustic instrumentation, featuring a wide range of western and world instruments, choirs, gospel singers, live band recording and sparkling audio production. 

Guest vocalists include Kyla Jade (American gospel singer, finalist on The Voice USA), Carmody (London-based vocalist who collaborates with Tom Misch) and gospel choir 'Soul Of The City' as part of an international line up of over 100 musicians and singers who contributed.

 Although the guys of The Outta Mind all grew up somewhere in the swiss alps, their music is not really reminiscent of alpine scenery and cold winters... Influenced by bands of the 60's era — as well as current bands out of the Garage, Surf and Psychedelic scene — The Outta Mind have been making music since 2014, that would rather indicate the californian shoreline as their place of origin. Their sound is shaped by echoing vocals, clanking and fuzz-studded guitars and catchy surf-beats with a slight touch of melancholy. 

The Infants pay homage to the burgeoning post-punk scene of the 1980s, capturing revivalism in its truest sense. The Brunswick based four-piece inject a newfound vigour into a well-worn ‘Melbourne’ sound and flaunt it with inimitable swagger.

Grinding rhythms underpin hypnotic melodies in latest single ‘Ape’, as Blaise Adamson (vocals, keys) brings a softer — nonetheless disconcerting — touch to the fray, skipping from yelps to whispers reminiscent of Lydia Lunch or Ari Up of the Slits.

Instrumentally, the rest of The Infants, Chris and Anthony Morse (bass/guitar), and Jack Normoyle (drums), bend luxurious and persuasive into harrowing and heady throughout the band’s sophomore EP, ‘Low Rumble’ with a shrewd sense of assuredness well beyond their years.

The road ahead certainly looks favourable for this talented four-piece, opting towards a first full-length release in 2015 as they continue their onslaught on Melbourne’s famed live music circuit and beyond.

Metro Detroit's The Paper Sound play a brand of moody, Americana-influenced indie rock reminiscent of Pedro the Lion and The Weakerthans, with a touch of Nada Surf power pop.
