Audrey Gruss is Founder and Chairman of the Hope for Depression Research Foundation (HDRF), which she established in 2006 in memory of her late mother Hope, who battled clinical depression for decades. HDRF’s mission is to fund pioneering international scientific research into the origins, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of depression and its related mood and other emotional disorders, with the ultimate goal of finding a cure. Additionally, in 2017, Audrey created the Hope Fragrance Collection, a line of fragrances that donate 100% of net profits directly to the Hope for Depression Research Foundation.

She passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 15th. Suzanne survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years. She was a true Warrior and an icon. She was on a very short list of dream guests we had for this show. In this episode Liz gives a behind the scenes look at the interview.  May we all hope to shine as bright as Suzanne did, have a love as great as hers and Alans, and to make it "through the rain".
