03 Live Your Life

I chose this scene for a film scoring exercise because it describes the death of my favorite character in the series, and therefore I would be able to compose a score that would portray emotions on a deeper level. I opened the score with an original music and later proceed with a quote from the soundtrack called "in Noctem" by N. Hooper, that symbolizes the passing of the headmaster and resembles a phoenix song mentioned in the book. I have used orchestration that is extremally close to the rest of the soundtrack in order to provide linkage to the original music.
