A colaboration between two worlds worked out as it should have. Or better. We went in hoping to write a lovers Pop song for licensing and ended up loving the track more than anticipated  :) 
Bart's Brother went in with the perspective of a young boy falling deeply  in love with a little young girl. First love kinda thing. And Beatman Fresh had a slightly more.. lets say Adult perspective on the song :) I think that the neediness in the lyrics comes across pretty well. 
"Fresh" recorded the Drums, Piano, Backing Vox and shakers on the track. 
Bart's Brother recorded the Bass, Acoustic guitars, Lead and Backing Vocals, shakers (If I remember right we were throwing that thing around?? :). 
Todd Beals plays the hopeful Trompet on the end riff. THANKS TODD !

Heroin

The piano was the first instrument I learned to play.  It has always been my rock, my outlet, my extension.  This song represents a time in my life where I forgot who I was.  I was broken and on the verge of giving up but music was there to literally save my life.  It may not be music but everyone has that one thing to turn to when the everything seems to be just too much.  Remember that one thing.  What was it that lit the fire in the first place?  Go back to that fire.

Bart's Brother is a musical collaboration between a group of great musicians / good vibing people and friends in the music industry around the globe that perform in different styles on songs composed, produced, written and co-written by Tommy, Bart's Brother.
