Many of the tracks here were produced using Reaper software. Vocals were recorded with a condenser microphone, and guitars were recorded directly into a sound card with amp emulations. All other sounds were created using virtual synthesizers or real-world sounds that were then processed.

For the past few months, no software has been used in the creative process. Everything is done with two samplers that have sequencers, a groovebox, a digital recorder and sometimes a drum machine. A computer is only used for the final step of production : mastering.

Anjmo is an independent artist carving out a world of emotion, rhythm, and raw honesty. Blending atmospheric melodies with textured beats, Anjmo creates music that drifts between introspection and energy—songs made for late-night drives, quiet moments, and everything in between.
Fueled by a lifelong love for music in all its forms—from the sprawling ambition of Prog Rock to the pulse and precision of House—Anjmo draws inspiration from across the spectrum. This wide-ranging musical DNA shapes a sound that’s eclectic yet intentional, cinematic yet intimate.
Each track is built through a unique creative process that merges original instrumentation, and hand-crafted melodies with carefully curated loops and vocal ideas. This hybrid approach transforms simple textures into a rich tapestry of sound—evolving layers, unfolding rhythms, and subtle details that reveal themselves with every listen. Every element is shaped with care, making the music feel both meticulously constructed and intuitively alive.
Self-produced and self-driven, Anjmo brings a sonic perspective rooted in experimentation, vulnerability, and a refusal to be confined to any single genre. Every release becomes a new chapter—where influences collide, emotions surface, and creativity takes the lead.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.

Pieter Rotthier - Belgian artist, based in Antwerp. He produces electronic music, a blend of techno, house, ambient and experimental electronics. His music has often a darker or more melancholic vibe, often mixing synths with more organic sounds like piano, strings and brass. It is danceable, but it also serves as a soundtrack for movies, that yet have to be made.

Quick on the drawing is also a visual artist, making drawings (hence the name), paintings and illustrations. The artwork of the tracks are exclusively made by Quick on the drawing.
